Hey, it's not a dedicated pump wing and I guess there are better options out there but if you wanted to get the WHIZZ for prone foiling or winging and would like to have an occasional pump session you are totally fine. The Whizz does have a lot of lift and pumps great once you get used to it. It really comes to live with a push from just the slightest wave. I think that#s what I liked the most about the WHIZZ, being so playful and almost endless glide in tiny waves.
@@obvioustrash7833 The WHIZZ is different and the dihedral has some benefits and some down sides. I guess it's like with every other frontwing: If it ticks your boxes, get it. If not, stay away....
Was talking about the gong fluid H v3 that doesnt have it anymore as opposed to the v2. I really liked it, it made the first about 15-20° in the roll axis very free but deep into the turn you definitely noticed the width, may be the same with the whizz?
Duotone QM looks sweet and somewhat reminds me of the Naish Abrakadabra that never really took off ?! I guess time will tell if the system will make it in the long run but first impression was definitely good. PIUMA is still my favorite set up for the moment, probably not for every one but if you are on the light side like me it ticks a lot of boxes. Slingshot just released a teaser of their "one-lock" which connects fuse, front wing and stabi without tools. Glad to finally see some movement in this direction. Anything that buys me time on the water is highly appreciated (-:
@@hoppline My issue with the Piuma is that you are not allowed to jump with it. I like sending it massive and I definitely dont want to my mast breaking on me.

The whizz looks exactly like a gong fluid H V2.. also sounds it rides similarly... But they ditched the dihedral for v3, i guess for a reason...
Next years Whizz is the same shape. The argument does not make sense that way as Duotone keeps it. So by that logic it would be good?

Nice review! Seems like the Quick release is much better than sabfoil being so thin and cheap...but that mast is not as thin and light as the Puima.
