Sunny is my bias. It's all about personality with them. Taeyeon and Tiffany are my wreckers. Jessica had left by 2015 when I discovered them. I think she's great, but I never got to see her in real time within the group, so that's a bit sad. I did get to see her reality show with her sister (from my og favorite group before DC, f(x)), and it really endeared her to me.

As for "Run Devil Run", including it in this selection isn't the best idea. There is a story version of the video and it is linked, albeit loosely, to "Oh!". These two MVs are also very important as they practically document THE concept change of SNSD.

Its almost 5th Gen now but nobody really beat her as a GG who turned into a soloist. Korean critics and seniors dont consider her as idol now but an artist beyond Kpop.

The early stuff, I don't think too many warnings are necessary...but there are some required later on. Taeyeon's voice is the one that GRABBED ME, KIDNAPPED ME AND DRAGGED ME DOWN THE K-POP RABBIT HOLE in 2015... Can't help but to feel so grateful to her for that. I loved both songs and i watched each MV at least 15 times. After some time i recognised one of the members, Sooyoung the one with the Yellow Jeans in Gee was also in Run Devil Run. From that point i knew they were the same Group. Sunny is my bias. It's all about personality with them. Taeyeon and Tiffany are my wreckers. Jessica had left by 2015 when I discovered them. I think she's great, but I never got to see her in real time within the group, so that's a bit sad. I did get to see her reality show with her sister (from my og favorite group before DC, f(x)), and it really endeared her to me.
I have a feeling the bias journey will be a full ride with them lol

Believe it or not, according to what I read years ago, Hyoyeon wasn't given many close ups or much camera time because she wasn't considered to be up to the Kpop beauty standard of the time. Then they went to France..... after that Hyo got a lot more camera time. She's always been my bias.

Into the New World sounds familiar because Dreamcatcher covered it and you watched their cover of it as a special clip during that deep dive. :) So you have actually seen the song itself, but just the one time.
Who is she? Hyoyeon - you've seen her in GOT The Beat "Stamp On It", along with queen Taeyeon (the one popping off in genie at 17:40 and who you asked "who is that?" at the beginning of Genie). I can't wait for you to hit Taeyeon's solo stuff!
Genie is one of my favorite songs of theirs! Paparazzi (a Japanese track) is my ultimate favorite track of theirs, though.
Some of the Girls Generation songs inspired Red Velvet's sound, so I'm pleased to see that you enjoy the GG stuff, that's a pretty good indicator that you'll enjoy RV as well.

As for "Run Devil Run", including it in this selection isn't the best idea. There is a story version of the video and it is linked, albeit loosely, to "Oh!". These two MVs are also very important as they practically document THE concept change of SNSD.
Was not informed about that as I know nothing about them. Can't wait to see that story during a deep dive that most likely will happen!

Taeyeon's voice is the one that GRABBED ME, KIDNAPPED ME AND DRAGGED ME DOWN THE K-POP RABBIT HOLE in 2015... Can't help but to feel so grateful to her for that. If not for Tae, I might never have come to know about DreamCatcher (my Ult Group), Red Velvet (Wendy is my Ult Bias), Mamamoo, (G)I-DLE, Twice...on and on and on...good lord.

I searched on youtube for who is the best Girl Group in Asia and i found 2 Groups, SNSD with Gee and Girls Generation with Run Devil Run. As you know both are one and the same, but i didn't know that at the time i just read the title of the video and didn't looked at the comments. I loved both songs and i watched each MV at least 15 times. After some time i recognised one of the members, Sooyoung the one with the Yellow Jeans in Gee was also in Run Devil Run. From that point i knew they were the same Group. I was really bad with faces at the time, but i recognised one Member so i wanted to do the same with the other members and i found this kind of video guess snsd's eyes ua-cam.com/video/-xu8uJ90TWA/v-deo.html. After that i recognised all of them and watched so many variety shows with them. I have no bias in the Group, i love them all equally for different reasons but they are the best together in a variety show.
