You just seem like a person that I would like to know. It is obvious that you are smart, focused, conscientious, kind…all the things. I have a size 5 foot. I’m anxious about the number of stitches to cast on for socks. It is always neat to run into some with like size and style.💗
I am now watching your podcast and I just love your socks. I am 69 and been knitting and crocheting on and off for several years but I have never done a pair of socks. I have a problem with the double pointed needles. I knit things to be used in the home but this time of year I made several hats and other winter garments for gifts but also a few churches and a few food pantries. Your stitches are so nice and I am green with envy haha
I was knitting on my second pair of Back to School socks as I watched! I've also got plans to cast on a pair of Good Friends socks from Stone Knit's Valentine's Day set as a holiday present for my mom. They'll be my first all over color work socks, and I'm really excited and happy that she has small feet.
Knitting on some garter rib socks for my dad (Christmas gift) as I watch! :) I really love the Hibernation House socks and have some yarn set aside for those, and I'm also eyeing the Squall Sippers by Lindsey Fowler, or any DK or worsted weight socks (so quick to knit and so cozy to wear). Such a fun video! Thanks, Hannah :)
Hello Hannah. Love your socks you’ve knit. Love your vest you’re wearing in the video. Is this one you’ve made? If so would it be possible to see the whole vest and also find out the pattern? Thanks so much Julie
I'm trying to get into sock knitting this year too! Which of these pattern you would recommend to definitely try? I'm kinda slow when it gets to socks, so don't think i would be able to knit all 10
Good for you! I think the Weekend Shorty by Summer Lee is a great place to start. You can use as many or as few colors as you want, she includes excellent descriptions and links, and it’s free! Happy knitting ❤️
Let me know… do you have a favorite sock pattern?
I’ve never knit socks before so I’m definitely going to watch the next video.
Socks can feel so intimidating! But not more difficult than other knitting projects ❤️

So nice to meet you Sarah 💕 Thank you for your kind words! For socks, it’s so hard to know until you get it right!

Thank you for watching Judy ❤️ Socks take some time to get used to but I really enjoy them now!

I love your second pair 😍 And that pair sounds beautiful! I’ll have to look for them on Instagram.

Oh yes the Squall Slippers look so lovely! Id also like to a dk weight this year ☺️
I'm trying to get a jump on my gift socks. Just finished my mom's and have 2 more pairs to go.
Good for you!! Im sure they will love them.
You might try shrinking your current pair of Sunday Socks to get them back down to size
Oh I hadn’t thought of that! Thank you!

Julie, this is the Nina Slipover by Jojo Tricot! I modified it to have a different stripe pattern than the original, but otherwise it’s the same!

I think if the Sunday socks are too big, maybe try a worsted weight yarn?🤷♀️
That’s a great idea. Maybe Ill even try a dk 🤔
Tell us about your knit top!
Oh yes! It’s my Nina’s Slipover by Jojo Tricot with modified stripes. I used Hip Wool by Hip Knit Shop ☺️
