    REEL
    Centrifugal braking system
For light lure casting and long-distance casting, centrifugal braking is better than magnetic braking, while having lower stability. Especially in wind or dead wind, backlash can be caused easily. Casting reel with magnetic braking system has better stability while having poorer performance for light lure casting and long-distance casting. In the initial section of casting, casting reel with a centrifugal braking system has the maximum centrifugal force. Lure gradually slows in the flight. The revolving speed of spool also slows, and centrifugal force diminishes gradually. Once winding or airflow changing, lure slows suddenly. Revolving speed of spool will exceed than speed of wire outlet, resulting in backlash.
    Magnetic braking system
Magnetic braking system - the initial speed and the force on the spool in flight are the same as centrifugal braking. What difference is that when the balance between revolving speed of spool and the speed of outlet is broken, the function that spool cuts the magnetic line of force and own magnetic force work in the meantime, slowing down spool and reducing the possibility of backlash.
    Dual braking system
Dual braking system integrates with magnetic braking and inertial braking, combining both of advantages, ensuring the braking system can always function when lure flying, avoiding each disadvantage of the single braking system so that lure can be cast more stably and further.

If the original audio is usable, I will generally leave it. In some cases it is not. Action cams have horrendous mics and outside video is difficult to capture with any quality unless you are using a high-quality mic with a good wind dead-cat wind filter. People that don't do videography really don't understand about the struggles that are faced trying to capture good live-action video when you are like me who is all on our own and don't have a professional camera crew following you around. Maybe one day I will be able to afford to hire someone to shoot video for me, but unless my subscribers really start helping me grow my channel faster, I may die of old age before that day comes.

@@leroyjarvis5617 Thanks man. I am trying really hard. I have a lot to offer, I just don't have the money to make it happen. My real ultimate goal is to travel to the Amazon jungle to document all of the survival practices of the Amazonian tribes I worked with back when I lived down there. I have contacts with tribes that no one else has. I speak their language and am considered family to them. I just need the money and equipment to make it happen, but my channel is growing too slow. I am stuck here in Texas doing whatever I can to try to grow it, but I must be doing something wrong because it is growing as fast as molasses flows in the wintertime. Yesterday I watch a basic construction video (hanging drywall) from another channel. It was nothing special. Just a guy hanging drywall but sped up 400% to make it look was working real fast. Do you want to know how many views it had. 8 MILLION! To matters more insulting to me, it got 8 million views in ONE WEEK! The video was nothing. It was just a sped-up video of a guy hanging the drywall, set to music. Here I am working my butt off trying to make helpful videos with detail step by step instructions, and if I get 1000 views in the first week, I would be doing backflips (if I could. LOL!).
I just don't know what I am doing wrong. Most of the time I just feel like giving up on my dream of doing a series in the Amazon. A lot of the Amazonians I knew from back in the 1980s and 90s, are old and some of died. I am no spring chicken myself. I am starting to wonder if I even have the strength left to do it. But I am not giving up. Maybe I am too stubborn for my own good, but there is no give up in me.

Thanks. To answer your question, I will tell you a story. I was once casting a small lure in some shallow water trying to catch some bait fish down on the coast of Mexico. I was using a Zebco 33 classic with 6lb test line. All of the sudden a huge fish grabbed my lure. Anyone who has ever used a Zebco 33 classic know that their drag system cannot handle large fish, but because of the way I hold a rod, I am able to flip the anti-reverse system off on a Zebco 33 and allow the reel to spool backwards, while placing my hand above the reel, over the rod, and pinching the line between my index finger and thumb, using them as the drag and reeling forward and backwards with my left hand. In such a manner, I am able to land much larger fish than the Zebco 33 was designed to land. In the case in Mexico, I was able land a 15lb Crevalle Jack on a Zebco 33 with 6 lb test line.
I doubt I could have done this if I held the rod the way most people do.

This is the way I have fished all my life. I have explained it many times before (red through the comments), but suffice it to say, I have fished all over the world this way for over thirty years and it works quite well. The problem is not me. The problem is that many people that are raised in a single culture growing being taught that there is only "One Right Way" to do things, and anything they see that does not conform to their ideas derived from their social conditioning, they consider that to be "Wrong". Let me let you in on little secret of life. There is not always Right or Wrong. Sometimes there "Multiple Rights". If you will embrace this concept, not only in this case, but many others, it will help live a much more peaceful life. No extra charge for that.

      @thejungleexplorer  2 роки тому

@@vladflorin6932 It's all good friend. I really appreciate this. I was not offended, I just like to help people be more tolerant towards others. You are not the first to notice my unique style of fishing, and you will be the last. I have fished this way for 50 years and believe me, I have been ridiculed more than you can imagine.
Since you have been so nice, I will explain why I fish this way. I started fishing at the age of two. My family was extremely poor and we were homeless most of my childhood. My father was a Survivalist and I grew up sleeping in the woods and surviving off the land. The first rod my father was ever was able to buy me when I was around 4 years old, he got at a pawn shop for cheap because it was a Left-handed reel. I used this rod for most of my youth and it trained my brain to reel with my left hand. I can reel with my right, but it does not feel natural to me.
Fishing this way also has some advantages that I have developed over the years. Being poor, I have always had to do more with less, and holding the rod above the trigger like I do, allows me to use my fingers to grab the line and use them as a drag to compensate for bad drags on cheap reels, such as the Zebco 33. Would you believe that I have landed a 34 Northern Pike and a 15lb Jack Crevalle with a Zebco 33 on 6 and 8 lb test line? I have.
I was actually with a guy who was making fun of how I fish when I caught the 34 inch pike. He had invited me to fish up in Colorado on his boat. We had just met and all I had to fish with was my collapse travel rod I keep in my pack with a 33 on it. Of course he had all his fancy high dollar rods. I told him I would just fish for crappie with a jig. When he saw how I hold a ride, he began the heckling. I just smiled . Pretty soon I was reeling in crappie after crappie. He said, "Just wait until a pike grabs your rig Oh boy! Then you're gonna find out!". I just smiled. A few minutes later, I hooked a big fish that started striping line, I flipped the anti reverse on the 33 and used my fingers as the drag as I mentioned before, reeling backwards and forwards with the handle as needed. The guy just sat there, jaw in the deck of the boat when I landed a 32 inch Pike. I was using 6lb test in this case. Still not willing to admit defeat, he said, "You won't do that twice!" Five minutes later I had another pike on. I landed it and it measured 34 inches. For the rest of the trip he said nothing else about my fishing style as caught three times as many fish on my collapsible rid and Zebco 33 than he did with all of his high dollar rods and reels. We had a good time, but until this day that man has never invited me to fish with him again. Some people just can't handle different.
      Tight lines my friend.

@@Fishvdhn Thanks for the clarification. I understand that. Let me explain why I fish this way. Maybe it will help.
I grew up very poor. My father had some weird immune system disease that the doctors were never able to diagnose. My mom was I'll too. From a very young age I have to fend for myself and my family. Got my first job at age 10 and earned $40 a month and paid for the rent on the house my family lived in.
The first fishing reel I ever used was given to me. It was a reel for a left handed person. I am right handed. To use it I had to fish reeling with my left hand instead of my right hand. I used the reel for years and it trained my brain to fish that way. When I eventual got right handed reel, I had to fish upside down because I use my left hand to reel. It is completely unnatural for me to use my right hand to reel. It feels as unnatural as it would be for a normal person to try to write with their non-dominant hand.
Many people are bothered by this, but the truth is, I have fished commercial and professionally all over the world very successfully the way I fish. Is it different? YES. Does it work just fine? Well, you watched the video.

Thanks. I take no offense at it. I have been laughed at many times while I fish the laugher under the boat fishing my style. It works fine and I do not believe the design of the rod is for one way or the other. I think it is just the way people are taught. A spinning reel and baitcaster can be used on the same rod. With the spinning reel, the eyes face down, and the baitcaster, the eyes face up. The rod is designed to be used both ways. I just use them both the same so I don't have to readjust for each style of reel.
Like I said, the proof is not in how you use the rod and reel, but whether you can successfully land fish with them. I will put my record up against the best fisherman in the world. My style allows me to do things that cannot be done if the reel is on top.

Jungle Explorer rods are built to flex a specific direction. They have what is referred to as a spine. Flexing opposite the spine causes the rod to kick from side to side under pressure. Also, specific guides are used and wrapped for specific directions of line pressure. The double foot guides being flexed in the wrong direction leads to a faster degradation of the blank and increases the likelihood of breakage. Just an FYI from someone who has built rods.

Jungle Explorer if you intend to use a casting reel upside down, you may be better suited to use a spinning rod with the reel.

I have fished for forty years all over the world. I guarantee that you will never catch as many fish as I have in your whole life. Why do you think I do not know how to use a baitcaster?

Even if it works with that rod doesn’t mean it works with others you should Learn the technique wrong because it could cause a problem in a future

Listen bro, I have fished all over the world and caught more fish than you could ever dream of. When you get a little wiser than you are now, you will hopefully learn a truth of life that is, "Not everything is a right and wrong. Sometimes there are multiple rights."
I know you have been taught that there is right and wrong way by your mentors, and when you see someone as highly successful as me do it differently, it causes an internal conflict in your subconscious that tells you something is not right. It's okay. Most humans are reactionary by natural and lack the ability to see beyond box of their cultural social conditioning. You are just as normal as everyone else in that regards.
