First time I heard James sing on GH, I was moved to tears. SO Beautiful.

James, as much as I love your character on GH and your incredible acting, the fact that you read a book each to children every Friday has sealed the deal for me! As a teacher of young children, I always try my best to make the books I read to my kids come alive. I could never ever hold a candle to the way you read these stories! I find myself memorized every Friday! Thank you for doing this for kids and for me too!

I got such a kick out of JPS smiling and laughing...you never see his character on GH doing this..it was great. Love you both and wish that this episode lasted alot longer.
He didn't even really do that in an episode of Frasier.

I may seem like a kook, I watch GH every evening (it’s something I look forward to every day) it’s how I wind down my day after my husband and daughter are in bed for the night. As I watch the show, I wonder which person/character is a Christian in their ‘real life’.
What’s funny is, I figured Maurice was, but over the past year or so James seems to stand out to me even when he’s acting, I can see a true kindness/Devine Love in his eyes even on screen. I’m thrilled to know he is a Christian.
These are the things that make my day, no joke. God bless you all!

A friend once told me that God does give us more than we can handle so we can learn to rely on Him. It’s an interesting point of view that often has me meditating.

I wish that conversation could have gone on for a lot longer; I enjoyed it so much! James, your musical talent is incredible and I love your acting. Thank you for openly sharing some of your knowledge of psychology and spirituality. Maurice, as always, thank you. I look forward to these every week (and got addicted to GH in the process. It's so well written, produced, directed and, of course, acted.) Talking honestly about mental health issues is essential. And I agree about speaking about 'God' or whatever word/name is used. It shouldn't be taboo. Thank you, and many blessings to you both!

I remember James on AMC playing Will Cortlandt. I’ll never forget when he said “marry me Skye” 😊 he hasn’t aged much at all.☺️

I love how open you and James are about God/spirituality, with your emotions. Its lethargic and moving to see two men, especially men of your generations cry and touch on such deep things. If you talk about Jesus/God people say you're shoving religion down my throat, preaching at someone yes but if you want to talk about the importance of Jesus/Muhammad (Peace be upon him) Buddah in your life and how He/Her/It has helped you in your life than you have the freedom to do so. James seems like such an easy going guy to talk with.
I really hope there will be more Sonny corinthos and Valentin cassadine scenes on gh in the future

I really enjoy JPS. I wish the interview had been more focused on him, his history and his current projects. The first one of these I saw was with Kimberly McCullough and it was outstanding.
Truly enjoyed listening to this segment of State of Mind with James Patrick Stuart. I was so deep into hearing and enjoying everything being said, I didn’t realize how quickly the time flew by. The conversation was so so good and I thank God everyday for opening the avenues for you and so many others to share their life and family experiences with so many. God is good!!!

Very much enjoyed this conversation. Am def a fan of JPS from his days at AMC (loved him as Will) and love him as Valentin. The fact that Maurice and his guests are willing to be so raw and open about their personal lives and struggles to help others is an amazing thing to see in a world where so many seem to put out false appearances or care only about themselves. This channel gives me so much hope for the future and is keeping me from becoming lost in the darkness that's around. I find myself looking forward to each new conversation.

As someone who has suffered from panic disorder for most of my 46 years and has a teenage son with it, I so appreciate Maurice bringing light to mental health issues. I think everyone is suffering from issues after this pandemic too. Love State of Mind!!!

I love your courage when it comes to sharing your human foibles and your heart for God, something so many celebrities are afraid of exposing that part of themselves. Thanks for opening up and making yourselves vulnerable and for keeping it real. Two of my favorite actors! Thanks for doing these State Of Minds shows. Maurice. They are so enlightening. Sometimes we may feel alone, thinking we are the only ones dealing with problems and emotions. Your show makes me realize everyone has their problems and issues., yet, as you said, " keep going". It gives me such encouragement. I so enjoy Jame's weekly book readings too. I believe he is encouraging parents to read more books to their children, as I did with my son when he was a child. It was our special time together each night. You are both very special gentlemen that make life a little bit better for us all.

What a great episode!! Love you both! I can relate to both of your stories. I have depression and anxiety. I am in a 12 step program and I have a therapist. Work full time & watch GH 5 times a week. Life is good today. During the lockdowns I wanted to just be gone. But angels brought me to find my therapist & a new job. I work every day with pancreatitis. God gets me through. Anyway, love you both from Eastern NC 🇺🇸🥰⛱🌊🐬

I also, wanted to tell you I'll keep your father, you and your family in my prayers. Sometimes (my opinion) God allows us to go through difficult times so that it'll draw us to Him... saying, "Lord, I can't do this. Help me!" He'll never fail to answer you.

I absolutely loved this interview ❤ two of my favorite actors getting real and sharing their true feelings with each other! That seldom happens with men ( at least the ones that I've known) its ok to be " not ok" and still be strong enough to be a husband, father, and provider for your family. Mental illness doesn't make you a weak individual! It makes you stronger than you realize. You not only push to take care of your family, but you strive to improve your mental "State of Mind " each and every day! This was such a great interview. @Mauricebernard, and @japastu
