Thank you Thomas!
Chris, this arrangement of yours is a jewel, only musicians can have an idea of how deep you've gone into it, and how inspirational it is. Thanks for this gift, all the best.

Magnifique.. J'aime beaucoup le style épuré, et votre manière de jouer et de réinterpréter ces grands standards.
Thank you Anita!
Super interpretation masterful playing. Watching during these scary times the music still survives.
Thank you!
Great arrangement and playing…aesthetically and technically spot on.
Thank you!
I can clarely here your classical influence in this arrangement .. the contrapuntal movements are wonderful ❤️
thank you Filippo!
Beautiful, Chris, love hearing this...
Thank you John!
Really lovely, Chris.🎸🌹 You sure captured the mood.
Thank you Robert!
This reminds me so much of the late great Chet Baker. I searched for a version by the master of Chord melody Barney Kessel, couldn’t find one, so I guess you took Barney’s Chair, you own it. Also love your trio version where you can solo those beautiful lines of your own that recall the genius of Chet Baker.
Pat Martino
Great 👍 nice sound / nice arrangement / like always a wonderful piece 👌🎶🎵🎼
Thank you Ivan
Wonderful arrangement, very good musical atmosphere, congratulations
Kind regards Chris.
Bernard.
Thank you Bernard!
Very nice, sir, and the Princeton makes for an awesome jazz tube amp.
Thank you! Love the princeton reverb
Great as always ! Happy new year 🎊 thank you for posting this😍
Thank you!
You're back and with a great arrangement to boot! Hope all is well. At last - some more good f/style jazz to listen to.
Thank you Mel!
gorgeous man
Thank you kindly
Great job, super phrasing! KBR
Thanks Kelvin!
Hey neighbor, I think I might have heard you laying this one down. Sounds even better without the wall muffling that clear crisp tone. Love ya man!
HA! Thanks Jim!
Talk about musician-friendly neighbors. So jealous.
@@JuanHernandez-uq5ld - Chris is such an awesome person, very laid baid, down to earth and friendly. It's amazing to see him play in clubs around town. Just a fantastic human.
nice tone!
Thank you!
Great Bro!👍🏼
Thank you Rocco!
Very cool. Bought the arrangement. One of my favorite tunes, especially the Sonny Rollins version.
Thank you for your support!
Great!
Thank you
So long time, Chris! How've you been? I missed your playing.. This one is so beautiful!
Hi Taehee. Happy New Year. Glad you like this arrangement!
Best version I've heard. What level of difficulty is it? Intermediate? Advanced intermediate? Advanced?
Thanks William. That's a hard question to answer because it's all relative, but generally I would consider it in the advanced category
@@ChrisWhitemanGuitar I had a feeling. Simply great playing, by the way.
Somewhere in the ether Jim Hall is smiling. Formidablè my friend.
I hope he is smiling! Thank you!
By the way really cool ending.
Genial!!
Thank you!
Beautiful arrangement Chris...as well as your tone! Are you playing through the princeton reverb and is it vintage or reissue with 10" or 12" speaker? Sounds lovely!
Thank you. I built this Princeton from a MojoTone kit. It has an eminence lil buddy 10inch speaker in it.
Awesome Chris! I built a blackface deluxe reverb because I wanted a low wattage amp that I could haul around easily...it weighs 50# now with a EV SRO 12 AlNiCo. Sounds great but now I want to build a princeton reverb...
Hi Chris, Lovely arrangement as usual. Any chance this will be offered for sale in your store?
Thanks Rob! Yes, my publisher has a license to offer it for sale, and I am working on writing it out now. Should be up in a few days.
@@ChrisWhitemanGuitar Thanks Chris. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Beautiful sound. What is the Amp?
Thanks, it is an amp I built. Princeton reverb kit from mojo tone
Sweet
Thank you!
Chris do you have this lesson in Patreon? Thanks!
That's just a performance, so there isn't a lesson for this one
11/10
Thank you
❤❤
Absolutely beautiful! Do you grow out your nails on your right hand for finger-style chord melody work? Or do you just use the pads on the tips of your fingers? Also it looks and sounds like you just use the skin for the thumb?
Thanks Mark. I studied classical guitar for years and always keep a bit of nail on my right hand, but you are correct, mostly flesh on the thumb for bass notes.
Sighhhh
