For some people, a classic wardrobe is the most practical (white t-shirt, jeans, blazer, ballet flats) bc it requires the least amount of effort/time/money. Please share your tips on how to periodically edit/refresh a classic wardrobe. 👜

I have two personal styles…..🤷🏻‍♀️. For the majority of my days I’m pretty much a jeans and tee shirt and flats type woman. A little boho, occasionally funky. But when I have days where I really need to look like a grownup (I’m 65! ), I am a classic dresser. Then there are the days and weeks on end when chronic health issues lay me low. Out come the soft, comfy, pajamas and lounge pants, and soft, loose tee shirts. It’s sometimes confusing inside my own head, Signe. 😄😄. Hej da.

You’re 100% right about wearing the sweats. If I’m not going out and put on lounge wear I will achieve nothing all day. It makes such a difference mentally in what you wear. ❤

The idea of acknowledging that life has changed (new roles, entering or leaving the workforce) is so helpful. The point about special occasions rang true for me, too. Thanks for delivering useful advice so gently. 😊

This video really just hit the nail on the head, Signe! I've noticed that whenever I do put in that extra effort to put on a real outfit, my overall mood starts to improve as well! I guess this means that I should start dressing up more often because, as of lately, I've just been feeling out of it. Thank you for these reminders 😊❤

I am loving the mint green in everyone's capsule . Because green is my favorite color in every variation . It's such an amazing color and almost a nude .

I absolutely love green too, especially blue-green and sea green, but there is definitely a shade for everyone.

Sage green is actually often considered a neutral, it’s so versatile and surprisingly easy to style with both other neutrals and accent colours! I love that colour too so much 😍 the colour of my suit is a leaning a little bit more mint/cool in colour than the typical sage green but still super easy to style I think!

I've found my style confidence over the last year. There are still a few consumer bad habits I'm working on, but I've never felt happier with my style than now. A lot of that is thanks to your advice on style. We don't have the same sense of style, and I don't have a capsule wardrobe (I like to think of mine as an intentional wardrobe), but you've taught me a lot. Thank you for that!

So true. At 65 yrs old, I am retired and living with and dealing daily with chronic health problems. I do not live my life as I did when younger and healthier. Yet my brain hasn’t completely accepted this. On the whole I am satisfied with my wardrobe. I know how to dress my petite, rectangular, post menopausal, older body. Lately I have been considering a really big change to my wardrobe. Where I live we have very hot, humid summers, and I’ve always worn shorts. But as summer approaches I will be wearing more casual dresses instead. I love linen and it’s cooler to wear because a linen dress will not have a fixed waist. A looser fit in Alabama summers is now a must for me. The heat and humidity did not bother me much before. My personal style is split between what I consider classic and somewhat boho/hippie. Switching to dresses will accommodate both styles. So, even at 65, personal style can change, because we do not remain frozen in place or in time. Signe, I continue to enjoy watching you. Hej da from the States.

Thank you for this video, which I shall rewatch. I am tentatively rebuilding my life after being widowed in January, so I'm going with storage rather than decluttering as I don't totally know which directions my life will go in. But you have reassured me that I'm doing well with colour, and that I will figure the rest out.

I had to put away one of my favourite shirts, light sage with tiny birds on it, because I was wearing it when he died. I've had it for years and want to keep it, but I can't wear it again yet.

I struggle with dressing up into business / business casual when I go to our corporate headquarters. I want to be comfortable, but I know it will likely be freezing in the conference room, so I have to be able to layer a sweater over whatever my base is.

I understand the " weight or armour of jewelry. " I am the same w a bracelet and my watch. I feel " unfinished" w/o those pieces on my wrist. I also always get dressed even if I'm home all day.. I just am more productive and energetic somehow when I'm pulled together.

5 days a week I have to wear a uniform (scrubs) and little to no jewelry, definitely does not reflect my style. I have SO many beautiful items of clothing that I will not declutter because of my work wardrobe. On my off time, I get many compliments on my style and clothing.

I like your videocontent so much but the music is awful to me. It sounds like the music in shopping malls, it makes our brain dizzy, the walk becomes slow, the mind becomes weak. And personally, the blaring gets on my nerves and makes me gaga, although it makes the videos sleepy. I am sad about it.
