Definitely an IOU Jobo for so many other great modern blues and classic blues artist he's turned us onto with Nerdville . Catch a Jobo show you'll be hooked on Joe's music too. Way to join forces with a great team!
This is Joe's best interview. You were knowledgeable about his catalog and didn't throw him any softball questions. No one has ever had the guts to ask Joe why Kevin Shirley thought his old songs were crap. But you did, my friend. You did.
Fantastic interview! Joe is an amazing person! He is the actual Titan King of the blues. I've seen him 2x and it's unlike any concert you will ever experience. The level of talent and dedication is unreal. 🦊🕶️Edit: Joe was moving into real sophisticated Blues trying to build a brand and he looked so young that it didn't quite fit the image of the sound. He was right once the hair, suit and black glasses happened. I'd listen no matter what but it really shows his respect for the fans to look and sound put together.
Hi I play many rigs but my cube rig is most used as it suites any guitar ,any sound. The rig 2x85 Roland cubes. 2x1x12 extension cabs loaded with same speakers. All run in stereo. Loud ,flexable, portable ,light, and great tone at any level. I get many coments from other guitarists, how great the sound is. Rig used with boss GE7 graphics and assorted pedals. Other rigs, Marshall, Mesa, Vox, Fender, Hiwatt, etc.
Thanks for watching! Ya the audio is not the best but Joe always has great answers! The transitions were just to get rid of some phone interference happening during the call
I never buy a rolling stone magazine again, i want to read about elephants in the music world, this guy is a giant in the music world……..at least to this fan…… a real live Goliath guitarist
Rolling stone has been dead since the end of the 70s. They never covered any of the alternative music scene or metal scene in the 1980s. Both of which became the 1990s. Then in the 90s they increasingly became a political rag with famous music acts on the cover.

Great interview Zak! JB is amazing, especially his vocals-his vocal tones are so in line with his guitar tone.

Where's Joe's Dave's Guitar Shop Hoodie? 😆 🤣 😂
Ha! That’s a good question!
I opened for Joe at Cumberlands right there in Charleston, fun time he was a cool hang
That’s awesome! That would have been a great gig to see!
As an electronics engineer and bad guitarist, nothing pleases me more than to hear Joe's grasp of Fourier analysis :)
Ha! Love it! Thanks for watching brother!
Dude, who are you and how are you getting Beato level of guests on your show? You know what, who cares, just keep the interviews coming.
Ha! Thanks for the note brother!!! We got a bunch more coming!!!
Great interview. Joe's phone sound is terrible, the transients are cut off and it sounds like a lisp. Maybe Joe is running for President.
Thanks for watching! Ya the audio is not the best but Joe always has great answers! The transitions were just to get rid of some phone interference happening during the call

Legendary? No. Chops? Yep, chops galore. Gear? Just ask him about it. Originality? Not really. Well advertised and marketed? Yes and yes.
Lol
He's not "Legendary". No one living is.
Alright mr stickler
