Brienne was honestly the best part of Jaime. I’m disappointed at his ending, but his character development was the best. As much as he tried to “move on” and to be a “good man”, he couldn’t get passed his identity and felt that he had to save Cersei or be with her. Brienne knew that Jaime wasn’t going to survive KL. I think she cried because she knew that was the last time she would see him alive.
Yes, I too think she cried for this! In addition to being left for the first time. It was the first time that his love was returned. And Jaime ... we must think that Cersei had her son in her lap. And he had already seen everyone else die.
he is a good man as brienne stated. if jaime have stayed at winterfell he would have been the same selfish man from season 1. he needed to come back. the writing is bad, the lines hilariously stupid. but he is a man of honour now. and yes, for honour people are sacrificing things. including their lives. this is the price. is not an easy one. jaime died alone. he was there for cersei not with her. maybe this perspective is a naive one and it is hidden because of the bad writing but i think that the "enhanced" jaime couldn't have stayed in winterfell.

I like to believe that actually Jaime didnt love Cersei anymore but she's still his sister and she needs him, so as one time he helped Tyrion because they're family.

I can’t understand why the writers say that he is addicted to cersie, I don’t see it. Even the actor himself said that...this means that he actually is going to save cersie. I am so sad, people are saying he is going to kill cersie but I don’t think that what the stupid ass writers have planned for jamie. So disappointing...he was my favorite character 😠 😭

Don’t Know Seeing how Jaime’s character arch ended, I wish he died during the Battle of Winterfell. At least he would have died for an honorable cause... fighting next to Brienne.

I 've listened this .. I don't know how many times. the music and all the lines ... they had the best story from the serie. i didn't expect them to remain together. it's not cinderella. but .. but .. not like that. brienne didn't deserve that. nor jaime. too many inconsistencies and it is so sad to see such an excellent character and development stopped so brutally. even if he chose cersei in the end and he tried to be next to her at the very end and he had those free and genuine moments with brienne their last dialogue and goodbye should have been different. that dialogue and the line that he didn't care about the people from KL are the 2 things that destroyed his arc. jaime lannister was the best character in got and perhaps in all television series (maybe big words but I wanted him to have his reedemption like theon). and without nikolaj clearly wouldn't have been the same. nikolaj managed to be jaime. unfortunatelly, the bad writing interfered. no matter how much I try to find some coherence there are some missing dots that will never be filled. because of the bad writing.
I agree with what you said. For me too Jaime is a fantastic character, with a long journey. And I was very sorry when he left for the king's landing. However, to tell the truth, when I saw him with Tyrion and then with Cersei - for the ending they reserved, not very nice for his character too - I wondered if maybe Jaime, also for how we met him , would have left anyway to return to his sister. His son is on his lap. Jaime lost Myrcella in his arms. He didn't want to lose another innocent. I think this possibility exists.
yes. this is why I don't question too much his coming back in KL. but the way that was made yes. my first instinct when I saw him leaving winterfell was that he wants to be next to cersei when she dies. because he knows that he is her Brienne, he plays for cersei the same role Brienne played for him. but stating that you know .. he never cared for the people in KL after the bath scene and after the dialogue with Bran is just pure stupidity in writing. and it didn't seem to be an irony or joke. If it would have been the case the conversation had been followed another path. and just like that they ruined the development and in the end d&d tell us that we kind of forgot who Jaime is. yes, we have been some imbeciles watching several years of development and looks and dialogue pointing in other direction and .. ups, we forgot. and yes, Brienne was right. he is a good man. I hope that in the books his coming back will be better written.

In più, credo che se avessi il coraggio necessario di seguire questa serie, li shipperei alla follia.
Ma tornando al personaggio di Jamie, mi hai detto che ha avuto una crescita bellissima. E nel video la mostri bene.

Meu único consolo é que ainda tem os livros, e o vínculo deles é mais forte (tem cenas deles que cortaram na série, infelizmente, e que seriam bem importante para demonstrar o vínculo que eles possuem, que vai além de atração sexual de como ele tem com Cersei.) Nos livros, Jaime não suporta que falem mal de Brienne perto dele (mesmo ele muitas vezes a insultando, é como se ele sentisse o direito de somente ele falar alguma coisa - porque ele é Jaime Lannister) da mesma forma Brienne. E nos livros, como forma de insulta-la, chamam-na também de "Prostituta do Regicida". Pra mim a série arruinou Jaime Lannister e todo seu arco de redenção e do seu vínculo com Brienne, que, graças a Deus, ainda permanece intacto nos livros.
Mas seria interessante Brienne, na série, ter ficado grávida dele, já que eles se deitaram juntos mais de uma vez. Um bom ponto.
