I think in times when fiction isn't satisfying, it's up to us, the vidders, the writers, the creators, to keep the story going...
Braime Alternate Ending:
Jaime leaves to fight for King’s Landing because Cersei is his sister after all. He doesn’t feel in love with Cersei anymore, he just wants to hurt Brienne enough in case he dies, so she would grieve less and go on… In King’s Landing, he faces Euron and during their fight Jaime kills him, and he is also wounded in the head. He loses a great part of his memories, and he can’t remember Brienne anymore. 20 years later, he travels to Tarth, where he meets some locals and they tell stories. He soon realises that they aren’t the warrior type, except for one dark blonde young woman, named Jane (Jenna Coleman)... She immediately recognizes her father by her mother’s stories. She asks him “Why would you even do that to yourself?” as in going back to save Cersei and he tells her “I had a duty of care.” meaning because she was his family… But Jane was his family too, and he didn’t know but he left her too just to save a woman who died anyway. “Sometimes, duty is the death of love…” that’s referring to Jaime’s love for Brienne dying because of his duty to save King’s Landing. Jane isn’t angry to her father, she just wishes she could turn back time. Also Jaime’s memories can’t be restored but Brienne gives him the White Book and tells him the stories of their adventures together. They make a new start, as a family, finally reunited and happy.

I know right? He definitely flirted and pursued her! I am still angry with how these writers treated them.

He was really happy in Winterfell, with Brienne, Tyron and Podrick… It was like a really family. not that one he had in King´s Landing…. Maybe he has a lot of guilty feelings that prevent him enjoying happiness

My Alternate Ending:
(I apologize for my English, it’s not my native language)
Jamie is getting out of the ruins. He is broken; he sits in a boat and faints. He finds himself on a ship travelling to Pentos. They have dropped him in an open sea. He decided not to come back to Vesteros.
During ten years he sails with smugglers and never steps the land in any port of Vesteros, but some day his ship comes to Tarth…
Jamie is watching boys are diving from the rock and remembers how he has done the same when he was a boy. Suddenly he notices one boy stays under the water too long. The captain says:” It doesn’t concern you. Let his father worry about that.” But Jamie drops into the water and saves the boy. He is sitting with the recued boy at the shore and watching the ship leaving the harbor.
He learns the boy’s name is Jamie. He asks:
- Who gave you this name?”
- My mother.
- And who is your father?
- He died defending King’s Landig.
From that moment Jamie decides to stay in Tarth.
They meet again some days later. They become friends, the boy tells Jamie that he and his mother live in a castle and his tutor’s name is Sir Podric Pane. The boy asks Jamie how he has lost his hand and Jamie answers: “I defended a woman” The boy is surprised how he can fight with his left hand and asks Jamie to train him. They start their trainings.
The young Jamie tells he owns a valerian sword. The older Jamie asks:
- Your mother’s sword?
- No. the mother’s sword is Oarthkeeper, but I own another one. The Legasy, it used to belong to my father.
- How does it look like?
- Its handle looks like a head of a lion.
- Your father was from the Lannisters, wasn’t he?
- I don’t think so. My mother’s sword has the same handle but she is not Lannister.
Some days later Brienne trains her son. He takes his sword with his left hand, she says:
- Take it right.
- I must learn to fight with my left hand.
- What for?
- If somebody cuts my right hand I will be able to protect my nearest.
Brienne is at a loss, she asks her son who teaches him to fight with his left hand. And the boy tells about his one-handed friend - a sailor Bran, which has been training him for about a month. Brienne secretly orders Podric to find out who is this mysterious teacher. The next day Podric follows the boy and watches Jamie is training his pupil. Podric is happy to see Jamie is alive and he says nothing to Brienne. He proposes Jamie to come to her by himself. But Jamie confesses:
- I, Jamie Lannister, has never been afraid of anything. But now I’m afraid of the woman that I have betrayed and who has been raising my son alone for ten years. She will never forgive me.
That moment he noticed Podric confuses and is watching somewhere behind him, he realizes Brienne is standing there and hearing what he is saying.
- You don’t have a son, sailor Bran, - says she and goes away.
The next day he comes to the castle, he is asked who he is. And he says:
- Tell your lady, Sir Jamie Lannister comes.
Brienne is offended and doesn’t want to admit the boy is Jamie’s son. But he says:
- He is ten years old, you have called him by my name, you gave him my sword and at least we are as like as two peas. I know he is my son from the moment I’ve seen him. You may not forgive me and run me off, but he has to know who his father is.
This moment young Jamie comes, he is surprised seeing his friend here.
The older Jamie is waiting for Brienne’s answer ( you know how he can do this) . She is gathering her strength:
- Jamie, - both Jamies turns to her (it looks very lovely)) ), - my son, this is your father - Jamie Lannister.
The young Jamie:
- Father? - He runs up and tightly hugs his father’s neck; - I’ve been waiting for you so long.
The adults are confused. They realize they are to be a family.

Wow this was really good! Both beautiful and satisfying.
(And way better and more right than the show did to some characters..."I never cared much about the people"wtf was that)
With more paragraphs it has a lot of potential, some detail and interactions, maybe dragging on the ending a bit more to give Jaime time to explain and prove his love and Brienne time to accept him again this would be so perfect.
Damn, if you do write a fanfiction of this please post the link as a response if it's not too much trouble, I'd read the hell out of that!
Wow without the slowmotion I would have never realised that Brienne after being knighted looked at Jaime in such an emotional way. Nik said when it happened he was completely caught in the moment like he was not there and I wish director would have changed his reaction so that he act emotional as well. Anyway great editing and video!

Thanks! Actually I had an actress who could be older!Brienne for the reunion but the setting of her scenes wasnt looking medieval at all. 😂
