I have been watching your videos for a few years and this is one of your best. A common trip well articulated. Your sharpening videos are a good pathway too.
Every year that passes I keep saying there’s never been a better time to start collecting. We both came from fixed blades, and considered a proper pocket knife was a slip joint. We both know the time when people said “I won’t buy anything made out of Chinesium”. I agree on the similarities of the locking tactical knives, at least in the production world. I still have my first Ganzo, as well as customs that cost as much as a car. I’ve sort of started working backwards, with 2 fixed blades I’m having made, a few traditionals and production. The Chinese make brilliant knives, and compare to some of the finest. Of course I have a few other customs in the works, but anything with a blade gets me excited! Glad to see you’re expanding your slippie collection, and glad I’ve got something to watch while I’m load up for a few weeks! ATB big guy!
@@slidetek thank you so much my friend appreciate it.hope you heal fast and fully.give me a shout when you're got your new customs in. I'd love to have you back on the podcast.👍☘️🙏
You’ll dig the fixed blades. Gene (ruggedmountainblades) is so excited he wanted to take it to Blade Show West. I told him it’s no problem, hope it gets him more clients! MT is having issues with the Vegas Forge San Mai, they’re ghosting him which is a bit upsetting. Dalibor has me scheduled for a sole authorship February, as do a couple others. The joys of customs! Thanks for wanting me on again and for the thoughts, most humbled. 🙏
Great Video!!!! I love your collection of knives and they are all gorgeous but as a lover of Schrades I am partial to that Schrade crimshaw you showed. Will have to put that owl on my long list of knives I look for 😅 Take care ✝️ 🙏
@@johngavin7484 to be honest mate I buy most of my knives second hand on face book and of friends,if you want Chris reeve or JWKs I use Frank @framarknives.co.uk.
Ganzo makes great knives. I live in America I visited Ireland a time or two and I love Ireland but I hate their knife laws maybe eventually someone can start a knife rights but being an American I have expensive knives and I have a ton of Ganzo and other Chinese knives as well . A good knife is a good knife. I don't want to pay too much for a Chinese knife but they make good knives and you buy what you can afford. So like you I don't put a lot of stock in nay Sayers . And I really enjoy collecting knives. Thanks for sharing brother I enjoyed the video 💯🤙
