I like to mention that days to maturity is different when it comes to fall and winter. With daylight hours shrinking as we approach winter and the closer you are to that the more you need to account for more days to maturity. If you're seed is like 60 days to maturity, but you plant in November, then maybe add another 15 days to that projection.
YES thank you for mentioning this as I totally forgot!! ♥️
Great planting. Good tip about the beets. I keep trying.
Hopefully those 100° days are OVER! 🤞🪴
Last year was the 1st year I did garlic and was super happy with the harvest and saved some to replant this year. So easy to grow. Anything else for this fall will be hap-hazard at best. The heat this summer was very discouraging and just wasn't inspired to start anything for fall. Will throw in some kale, carrots and parsnips and that's about it.
I too am a big excel person. I now have it figured to let me know based on days to maturity and last frost date when to plant stuff and have it harvested before it gets stupid hot this next summer. My plan is to not have anything to worry about watering for Aug. and Sept. We'll see how that works lol. Great info as usual.

This was helpful! Thank you.
🥰🥰
I like fall gardens, but find it hard to start things early enough. Hard to get motivated when temperatures are still in 90's or this year above 100.
The motivation to start the seeds is the hardest part for sure!
