Why do people care about something that happened 15 years ago? I see sexist Hollywood is much more forgiving to men then women. Ryder is one of the greatest actors of a generation.
Winnona Ryder could act circles around most of the women working in films today. She's been nominated for academy awards. Girlfriend got convicted of on some bullshit shoplifting charge and Hollywood turn it's back on her, Lindsey Lohan has been in rehab and arrested how many times and Hollywood continues to welcome her back with open arms. Robert Downey rj would I love is a known coke head but did his stint in rehab and jail and they gave my man a multimillion dollar franchise. Something tells me Winnona didn't kiss enough ass during her younger days and when the opportunity came to cut her loose , Hollywood took it. Plain and simple. She looks wonderful for her age because she always looked younger than her age in her films. Far better than people who are hacking themselves up to look good.
i agree about that but the diference is that robert admits his mistakes and stop doing drugs like he was told so and winona only made excuses (she claim that she lost clothes for a role) and many other bullshits

i love her voice, it's not as innocent as it was because of all the years of smoking but it's still nice to hear it. And I love how she still does that one eye rolling thing like did in the movies.

I worked on a film with Ms Ryder right after Beetlejuice came out. As a matter of fact, my ex-wife was Winona's stand-in and even doubled for her in the opening scenes of "Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael." I don't care who else is around, she positively charges the atmosphere wherever she is. As cute as Winona was as a really young actress, it's great to see how lovely she is with a couple more years on her. What a gorgeous young woman!

All I know is that EVERYONE makes mistakes and it's not fair to hold something over their heads solely because they're celebrities. It's pathetic how people talk shit about people they don't even know just to feel better about themselves.
I don´t care what anyone else thinks, she is still a great actress. Winona got caught up in the " Boys Club" web, and some still judge her. For those who don´t know, The Boys Club is Hollywood. It has Always been run by men and is still run by men. Look at Johnny Depp, whom she is still friends with, no one judge his drug past, but Winona is this scary shop lifter, oo atch out. Dubbe standard.
Miriam Hopkins from what I understand she was under medication when she did that. Forsure battling mental health issues. Shes human.

She's more talented than most actresses her age. In her teens she was as big a star as Kristen Stewart is today and so much more gifted.
