Hello Tony, all of the sudden some patches are not sounding right, I use my Motif so very lightly,,,I live alone,,so no hands touching it but mine, any idea?
@@TonyWinston Will try,,there is a patch named Traveller,,, today when I tried it,,sounded weird. Luckily I recorded it the other day,,,meant to use it a s bed track, I can make a video of how it sounded and what is sounding right now,,,I will let you know.
@@qasion I'm not really an expert on the motif. I dont remember much about sequencing on this keyboard . I know you can save a specific sound to a sequence but it's not likely I can be of much help. Hopevyoubcan figure it out
Tony Winston I mean if you have music already saved under one file and you were to come back and do another track and accidentally overwrite the file. Can you get it back by recovery software?

different versions of the motif have different sets of waveforms. my patches are for the motif es. the power grand you speak of is only on the classic. I don't know if my patches will work on the classic. probly some will, some won't. Restore your keyboard to initial settings or your previous save of your patches. You can add my patches individually to avoid overwriting your power grand.

alwaysinmydream1 there is no way to move yamaha's internal waveforms from the original motif to the EX. You could try saving the power grand to a user voice and transfer that voice to the ex but it may use a waveform that is not on the ex . I run into this problem anytime I upgrade to a newer model. I really miss a few of the guitar sounds from the ex since I upgraded to the XF.

I had same thought and did partition my drive to 1/2. Would not work. Motif reads usb as low level of total size, not partition level.

what kind of file? if you previously saved an all file, you may be abletoextract the file you need.
