Really nice demo of the Motif ES6 and just what you can do with it via layering and splitting, and you must've spend a good amount of time developing all of these nice performances in your banks - great job! I also own a Motif ES6 and although I have a few newer keyboards by Korg, I will never part with the ES. It still plays and sounds beautiful. Thanks for making and sharing these fine videos, Tony.

Hi! I was wondering - can I create my own .w7a files from samples I've created, using a DAW like Ableton? I'm trying to set up my s90es with said samples, so I don't have to bring a laptop to gigs. The answer might be in the manual, but I haven't found it yet...Thanks!
Hi, if I load a VOICE with sampled components, such as Organ Session, when I turn off the keyboard I cancel the samples causing the VOICE not to work? If I put this VOICE in a PERFORMANCE, do I only lose in real time volume controls (drowbars effect) or also the samples? So the solution is to put the usb stick in AUTOLOAD and always load the samples every time the keyboard is turned on? Thank you
good question. i don't know - I'll investigate. I've moved on to the motif xf now but i still have the ES. Some of the sounds are better on the ES but I've started liking the XF as most of the sounds are improved though a lot of tweaking was necessary for me. I'll get back to you on the master effect...

Great video! On some voices I seem to be hearing a split keyboard, where the tone in your left hand is completely different than the tone in your right. Do you have a keyboard split built into some of these voices or are you using your finger velocity to control the tone? Either way, it's pretty awesome.
Split. I do this to avoid bringing two kbd to the gig - but i usually bring two anyway?! I have been using a motif XF lately and will upload my patches for that kbd soon. Not sure when I'll get the Montage...

Must say that those an old school hardware synths are much more rich n' full sounding than any plug-ins !!
Henri Lehto ha what plugins are you using? Or what type of audio interface?
For sure ! I play the motif es6 in live gigs, plugins just dont have the same punch

It's in the utility section - you can select the type of effect and adjust the settings.
