I've given up on sending demos or asking for stems. It's all about knowing someone from inside the industry or suckin up to the influential ones. I'm better off investing in promoting myself on the internet.
I got signed by one of my city's biggest labels just by sending in a demo on soundcloud lol. Its not impossible. Though I did send like 100 emails to other labels before that happened.
I think chasing labels is like chasing women...not wise! Promote yourself and have them come to you!

It' is very useful to hear the perspective of someone who actually receives demos. One question I have is, why would so many people send music to your label? What will your label do for them that they can't do themselves? Does your label have any artists with hits?

bro some of my first beats. i can say that they are garbage. and i know what he means with garbage beats. i put effort into making those beats. but my ears wasnt developed enough to know that it was garbage. until someone told me. then i worked my ass off. to get a better sound. hes not being disrespectful. hes just stating the truth

I'm following your channel since October 2016 and i like your content in your videos, but i can tell that you are getting repetitive with the subjects of your videos. Try to change that, make new projects of videos, do more specific 'how to' videos about productions with more details in longer videos. Spice things up! and keep it up...
How can you get followers without people knowing you and labels promoting you so you can sign to a label and people knowing you? Ugh that's hard.
That's just bullshit.. for a good label it's the music that counts. Maybe if you aim to do mainstream crap, then yeah, followers are even more important than music

My friends listen to trap, i make progressive house they can't give feedback because they don't know what to say what is wrong.
When i post in groups for feedback, they don't respond and how the f$. am i supposed to know what is good and what is not.. it's really hard

So what good is submitting a demo if its already a polished studio track...the demo is submitted and the label should put you in a studio...

10:25 this is what is considered good music? It sounds generic, boring, immature. This is what has happened to music. Seems only those NOT involved in the making of such "music" ... are the only ones who can hear that.

How about simply DON'T submit to labels and release independently. Unless you absolutely don't have the time to market yourself labels are essentially useless these days.
Well it's easier to reach more audience from different countries. (especially if you are from a small country)
