We've had DAYS of 45-degree weather and no snow. EARLY SPRING?? The perennials are trying to pop up, the snowdrops are in bloom and I've taken a break from laying tile to go revel in the mud. IT SMELLS SO GOOD. Today I'm all gardening in zone 5, gardening in Wisconsin, hanging grow lights, starting seeds, and more!

Angela, we needed to move a concrete picnic table. We called the local college and hired 2 football players. They were thrilled to make $75 and made it look so easy!

Love your natural hair. It makes you look young.!
I love that you’re wearing your grandpa shirt to work in the garden .
I have a pair of my dad socks that I put on when my feet are cold in the winter and wear to bed . I had given them to him when I was young, and they have Dad written all over them..

Wow! To be gardening in Zone 5b would be amazing! We're Zone 3 and it's really 'interesting' to see how much we can get planted in our very short growing season 🤪 However, like you, we've had unseasonably warm weather this winter...hoping for an early Spring 👍

There was just a discussion on hoop houses on another channel compared to the Costco greenhouse which is small and $1300. I can't use the hoops because of high winds but they seems good for most. Linda Vater in Oklahoma is shocked by the 70s temps there in Feb. and scared to see what the summer brings there. She put in a whole front and back yard in just a few months after selling her tudor home where the garden was heaven. I am sooooooo jealous of your beautiful garden. I wish I had help to install the beds out front but no one here helps me. I am 75 now and I do need some help.

Oh my gosh, Angela, we're the same way here! We are zone 5b as well, and I just could not be more grateful for this weather!!! I think we had that same April storm here a couple of years ago (garlic was already up and we lost power for a week). I know we're supposed to be under feet of snow right now, but i don't care. Next year we will be. For now, my gratitude couldn't be sunnier!!!🌞🌞🌞 The glass cloches are amazing- you must have picked those up in France? Thanks so much for the delightful spring preview!! Big hugs!!❤🙋‍♀️

Love ur real life honesty, me too 😮 its like weather and spring coming in unaware for us in California, no snow in our area but rain off and on , very unpredictable weather. But the looks of our outdoor property is so much to do this season, lots of weeds to take care of and working in my backyard and garden, it's overwhelming, but I'm so gratefully thankful to God anyway ,it's a beautiful life. Have a blessed and happy Monday to u and ,u family ❤

I could not imagine June with snow. We are in South Georgia and it’s already hitting the seventies during the day. It’s so nice. However, give us a couple of months and we will think we are dying from the heat. 😂We have been working on irrigation for all our fruit trees. It gets so hot and a water hose doesn’t cut it and we can’t control the rain. Our greenhouse is thriving too. I just finished up last weeks homemaker chic. Such a fun episode!

Absolutely love the hair again Angela. It was my first thought before you said anything. Embrace those beautiful curls.
Living on the north side of that Canadian border and we lost all of our snow too. The last little patch melted this morning. Really excited for this. Worried that I didn't start my seeds early enough. Wondering if we'll have had enough precipitation to keep the plants happy during the summer. Hoping for the best. Also enjoying this amazing gift of an early spring.

You're hair is amazing. I would kill to have hair like that..we'll, not really. My hair is completely opposite. I am in Tennessee it's 38 and raining today. We've had alot of rain and I can't get outside much. Indoors I started brassicas (including arugula) chard and spinach. Today will be herbs, onions and hopefully some cool season flowers a little late.

We brought a big cast-iron tub up some very steep stairs. Plywood on the stairs and a winch at the top. There wasn’t a lot of pushing, but it was still difficult. Maybe maybe that would work for him😂 I do not envy that job

Zone 10a waking up to early spring in my corner of California. Lots of rain this year, but not as much as last year, but we never complain! It’s like you’re nearly on the same schedule as us! Garden seeds were sown indoors 3 weeks ago and are sprouting now. We planted some apricot mallows this last weekend and moved the blackberries and raspberry briars to a hopefully better part of the yard. Thank you for being such a inspiration to my own little potager garden. And I think your hair is beautiful!

I don't know if this is a good question or not, but getting the tub of the stairs really wasn't the big head scratcher for me it was how do you keep it from falling through the floor? It's a cast iron tub. That seems like it would be heavier than your average porcelain clawfoot tub or do they weigh about the same? I would have no way of knowing that's why I'm asking.
