Super helpful, and well made as always. Just curious, is there any good roaming build for Elementalist? I've been able to make pretty good builds for the other 3 roles with your guides, but roaming I just cant seem to nail down.
hi vallun, i noticed you didn’t go very far when using that evade skill that gives you initiative (roll for initiative?) around 25:23 . is this an animation cancel? would be very useful for sticking to melee targets. thank you!!
ohh dang i didn’t realize weapon swap would cancel the dodge animation. but yeah here you were still s/d. would be cool to be able to cut the distance manually if you wanted somehow

These video guides are great to raise general knowledge and awareness in the community in lower tiers. But I'm afraid people do not want to watch a 1hour long video, before they want to go in the game mode just to meet the absolutely RNG rotational chaos in low tier pvp.
that falls into the priority of survive and then foucs what your team is on. If you're going to die because of another roamer, then you need to be on them, but if you have support and your team cant chase a roamer then get what they are on
Fir slb i take assassin for better burst :) i also take double axe for less mobility, but good melee counter with axe5 and also big reflect dps against lich forms.
This mesmer mirage seems better than chrono greatsword one shot burst. Chrono one is incredibly hard to pull off cuz its super easy to dodge and it has little to no mobility hence u r super easy to be caught.
@@Vallun yes smokescale in general provides so much more for actual fighting and definitely the best pick on smaller maps. Feelsbad that roam slb is so onetrick and things like pherald just do it better.

fresh air weaver, even lightning rod weaver can be roamer builds, mostly the super speed and burst from the air trait line fits the roamer role

most people use friend list for that, pvp guilds arent too much of a thing

One thing you maybe could have expanded upon is how to deal with the situations of roamers fighting each others when they meet on the map.

I feel like for roamer slb gazelle is more useful for medium/big maps for all the mobility it provides.
yea the mobility is useful for sure but i figured the stealth combo could be more useful for disengaging
