Yes I like it. I'd like you to show us around and the cultural shock you experienced if any.
Morocco has a strong Islamic presence than many countries, some people aren´t aware of this and just post comments. Hence, the reason why they keep saying the mosques are not full. Mosques always have people, there was even a stats done about the age group that are religious in Morocco, and it was found that the youth of Morocco are even more religious, so it is an excellent option for Hijra compared to many other countries, in many aspects.
Salamu Alykum Brother. Well said. Do you think Tetouan is better than Tanger in terms of the Islamic aspect? I am thinking to settle down in Morocco inshaAllah? Thank you
@@infoinfo6910 Tetouan is more conservative yes
The Islamic presence is in every town in Morocco, but smaller cities seem to be less exposed to foreigners visiting who are non-Muslims but there is still that strong Iman and Islamic practice among the Moroccans. To relocate to any country for Hijra, you need to look for conservativeness but also a city where you make ends meet, Tangier fits this profile perfectly, but there are many other towns, such as Safi, Rabat, there are those little gem towns in Morocco which also have so much potential for businesses to thrive there as well. Good luck with your Hijra journey to Morocco, May Allah make it easy for you and your family. I am also a Moroccan expat living abroad but looking to move back to Morocco finally inshallah. @@infoinfo6910

It is true , we live in nothern City of morocco and the mosques are not empty . The Prayer is very established alhamdulillah
I like that you are very honest, I think it helps others to actually prepare and not expect everything to be easy. Not many mention details like these, it’s very helpful jazaakAllah khair
مرحبا بيك اخي!
One advice I’d give you is take it easy don’t be in a rush to accommodate yourself or get used to it, and take it naturally, enjoy the weather, the places, the mosques, the congregational prayers, and Eid’s and fridays, and slowly you will see yourself so accommodate ان شاءالله that it will be hard for you to leave akhi.
Brother if I take my time then I will be bankrupt😂 it costs a lot of money to stay in airbnbs and hotels until you decide

Excellent video again about your Hijra journey in Morocco. Looking forward to seeing more and your day-to-day life as it unfolds in Tangier, Morocco. Do visit many of those little gem cities in Morocco, they really have a lot to explore and offer in terms of Islamic history, culture, Islamic architecture, etc. May Allah make the Hijra journey for you and your wife successful inshallah.
I'm from Tangier.
It's true that mosques are typically closed outside prayer times, but there might be exceptions sometimes. Also you're lucky to live near that mosque, it only opened about 4 months ago, and before that the people living in that neighborhood did not have a proper place to pray other than some garage.
Concerning people speaking English I think younger people who are 16-25 years old are much more likely to speak it, and would probably be able to help you with translation.
Also, Casablanca and Rabat are much more westernised/liberalised than Tangier, so keep that in mind when going there, and Casablanca has much fewer mosques per capita, sadly.
Anyways, welcome to Tangier! and let me know if you have questions or need help knowing more about the different areas in Tangier, or Morocco in general.
Salam alikom,
I think your English it’s easy to understand so you can find a lot of young people who can spoke English not like a native but they can communicate easily with you.
By the way I’m from Tangier but living in Belgium 🇧🇪
welcome again in Morocco 🇲🇦
I wish you all the best my friend, stay on your deen and welcome to your new home; our beloved kingdom of Morocco !
about mosques only opening in prayer times, it's true but it's not consistent, generally the authorities doesn't like people gathering in groups in mosques if not authorized (quranic school for children for example), the mosque you went to if let's say young people started forming study circles and the mosque started getting very active and stuff, it's almost certain the authorities will intervene, and might even close the mosque between payers.
the friday sermon is to some extent controlled/surveiled by the authorities too, they controls what can and cannot be said generally, but you still can find imams who don't abide by the religious affairs ministry's recommendations, especially in smaller mosques, though they risk getting suspended, we've seen many cases with the recent events in Palestine, the imam of the mosque I go to doesn't even mention Palestinians explicitly, he goes like "O Allah help our brothers everywhere and make them victorious over oppressors" and repeats it 2 or 3 times and with a different tone so that we get that he means Palestinians.

I agree, Tanger is a good choice, best of luck.
There a various big Supermarkets in Tetouan. Marjane, Carrefour, Acima, Carrefour Express.
Tetouan is extreme busy in the summer and calm in the winters.
If you need more information, Im a tetouan and Tanger expert!
Stay away from Careefour ,they support the zionist entity.
Thanks!

Barakallahu feekum fpr the videos. I find them very beneficial. And minus the tattoos you definitely can easily pass for a Moroccan. Their look is not one type byt very varied actually as it is in many North African countries. You look similar to some of my relatives there. Insha Allah learn the local language and you will easily pass for Moroccan.

Asalamu Alaykum brother, great video. Can you maybe talk about how easy it is to do the 3-month visa run to Ceuta as a Brit, as I've heard a lot of people do it? JZK
It’s easier to go from Tangiers to Tarifa for the day and come back and get a 3 months visa stamped the Ceuta route is a lot more complex and not so straight forward you will have to stay a night as border police will not let you back in Morocco. Sometimes you could be refused entry as their prefer you take the Tanger to Tarifa, Algeciras or Gibraltar routes.
Welcome
