@Kai Hanna - maybe the seal is broken? take off the cover and re-seal it or put a new one on but make sure to seal it with the proper gasket sealant. You should be able to use the same steps shown in this video, pretty much the same procedure for most bikes. Good luck!

The casing certainly comes away quite easily once you've "broken the seal". It's not a bad idea to put some tape over the casing bosses before you use the long nose pliers to avoid scratching the aluminium.

How long do you have to wait to put oil in the bike? Does it take time for the Honda bond 4 to cure?

Fitting a new alternator cover the reduction gear is out of place so the dowel won't align back with it but I can't move it by hand
needs to be moved forward but don't know how to please help me if you can

My bike battery doesn't charge after the ride. some people telling me it's the rectifier.

What's your view on your 125cc motorbikes, geared and everything? I ride a 50cc Yamaha Jog RR which is nice to have a "RR" sounds better doesn't it? I thinking of getting a 125cc or maybe a 250cc later in years, anyway safe riding man! :)

Motorcycles do not have alternators.. it is called a stator.
oh and this is probably a whole new ball game but I'm not doing the alternator but rather the other side the right side where you would put the engine oil in would it be the same ? any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated
It's basically the same procedure. remove the bolts and a little oil may come out when you break the seal. Just be careful when you pull the case off as washers and starter gear will be lose and may fall out. (don't wanna chip that gear)

It's recommended to use the Hondabond 4 gasket sealant and not an actual gasket.
Did you use a new gasket with the gasket sealant?
Just used Honda bond as the service manual stated. This instructions are from the official honda service manual.

Another F4i owner here, 2001. When I did mine I used a premade gasket but made the mistake of not adding silicone to the stator grommet.

With most bikes it's pretty much the same procedure. The main thing is to make sure to pop the seal with a rubber mallet, the rest is easy.
