I’m 65 and have had This disease for over 5 years. I get injections Every 3 or 4 months, I stay Active, I lift Weights and Do sprints, Take vitamins and eat clean. I still Drive and Ride Motorcycles. My eyes have been getting Progressively Worse a bit each Year, I find it very Scary at times but I stay Positive. I have 3 Grown Children and 6 Grandkids, married to a Wonderful Woman for over 45 years who helps me stay Positive. Must continue to live a clean Life and pay close attention to my Eye health. Hopefully the medical Field will come up with a Cure someday. Keep pushing forward and live the best life you can, don’t take anything for granted. Our Eye sight is a Gift ! God bless.
I was diagnosed with dry AMD just over 3 years ago. The vision specialist, who I see every 4 months recommend taking Bausch & Lomb Areds2 capsules twice a day. I live in the USA and don't know if Areds2 is available everywhere else. By doing some research on my own I came across the health benefits of Goji berries in particular for eye health. Almost every day I take a large spoonful of the dried berries. They are not very tasty but my AMD has not worsened for well over 2 years.
