      It’s just disgusting.
It’s like people need a massive tragedy on a ww2 scale to remind themselves of what fascism means, or slavery, or awaiting extirpation.
I’d say at least 60-70% of the world’s population are extremely lazy scholars, and thus simply follow without taking the lead.
So they’ll make excuses for human trafficking because if their bah-ble says it’s ok….and uncle Bob says it’s ok…then it’s ok.
      🤦🏽

That's caused by echo chambers. Their friends, family, pastors, priests etc. all tell them how great the evidence for their faith is, that people who don't believe simply haven't heard "the word" properly explained yet.
They actually believe their arguments are worth something, instead of being a deep pit of fallacies, emotional reasoning and circularity.

Isn’t it unbelievable that to this day people in general will defend human trafficking. And these are seemingly good people.
Like you wouldn’t think this guy whom Justin is speaking with, is a bad guy. But….he’s willing to overlook a young 15 year old getting brought into a room screaming for help ready to be raped by her kidnapper who thinks he owns her. Does this make him a bad man or a good man?
I’m not ready to call this guy a bad man, though 100% he is living in ignorance which has shut down his humanity, his integrity, his BASIC level of what being a civilised human being is versus to what an animal feels or how it thinks.
I just think people like this lack the intelligence to perhaps empathise or at least put themselves into the place of a kidnapped human being under threat of torture and a hanging.
So I’m willing to believe this guy isn’t a psychopath, just really ignorant.

@exceptionallyaverage3075 For the Chattel slavery , YES. NOT for the stolen wage labor. There are two kinds of slavery in the Bible AND in modern times!!! There are LAWS AGAINST slavery AND there are examples OF slavery in the Bible. There are NO laws REQUIRING slavery!!! Many of the Bible stories do NOT paint a GOOD picture of the people who are supposed to be worshipers of YAHWEH. They OFTEN rebel, disobey and are plain false worshipers. It is a historical record of the good AND the bad.

God never commanded us to have slaves. He simply allowed it because its our choice and our mistake to learn from. When your gf cheats on you you dont tie her up to prevent her from cheating again. You give her chances to learn from her mistakes and part ways if need be. Thats the point about slavery in the Bible. God allows us to make our own choices. Even those who blaspheme have the choice to do so but the consequences are our own. My opinion is take what is beneficial to your life from the bible if you dont believe in it. Understand that it's telling us how life used to be and not telling us to live like the people in it. But go follow commandments that are beneficial to our life and others. The new testament has simple rules. Love thy neighbor. Forgive. Do not lie or steal. Do not kill etc. If someone wrote a movie like Django where horrible things happen in the movie because it's based off of history does that mean the guy who made the movie is sick? No. It means that he tried to paint a picture of what it used to be like.

    uuuuuppp...
I haven't read any Bible the number of times that he has.
I am a moron, in any comparison at least on this subject. I will roll over and expose my belly on this, and I know so much that the majority of people here don't ... and you are the top of the top and can tell me many things I am ignorant of. Let's talk if you are them.
Yet, on topic, this is nonsense. Read your own book(s) Christians!
It's a moral test. In the front! Try and pass it!
Specifically: What was the point -- morally of the Garden of Eden? Walk me through it. Preach...but bring the evidence.
Do not. Don't. Just stop looking over your shoulder to crib the wrong answers. Think! It's not that hard!
