Yes, you can marble almost anything with Jacquard Marbling Colors. However, we would not recommend using the paint on the lip of the mug without some kind of top coat.
so you just treat the silk with salt beforehand and then heat set with an iron afterwards?

I'm a luthier, after 2 years I managed to make the swirl or marbeling, I apply primer on the guitar, but when I do the immersion the paint runs!!! the drawing does not transfer to the guitar !! I beg you please help me! How do you pass the piece before sinking it? it looks amazing!!! thank you very much and I ask you from my heart !!!

@@EliotGroove Carageenan is seaweed, perfectly safe to eat and is used as a thickener, just like the water in marbling.

What is carrageenan u said to wash off at the end ? Do you treat the scarf first. ? Is it like alum ?
Carrageenan is used to the thicken the water that we float the paints on. After marbling, it rinses off. Yes, we do recommend pre-treating the fabric with alum before marbling. Both carargeenan and alum come in the Jacquard Marbling Kit: store.jacquardproducts.com/products/marbling-kit
