New Showmax App Review in Kenya - Worth Kshs. 650 in 2024?

In this video, we review the new Showmax app here in Kenya in 2024. The main difference between the new and old apps is the removal of premier league football on TV. You can only watch live matches on a mobile phone on the new Showmax app.
So far, the app is easy to use and offers the same smooth experience as the old app. Showmax is slightly cheaper than Netflix here in Kenya. Still, given the two platforms offer the viewer a different catalogue of movies and series, it's worth rotating between the two platforms once in a while.
Overall, the update wasn't necessary in our opinion, especially given you loose all your viewing history. Also, the previous app didn't have major issues that would warrant a complete overhaul. An update to the old app would've been the best and easiest option from a user's point of view.
