Honestly, these live videos have me really second guessing traveling to the Chicago show. They just don’t sound good, the energy isn’t there, and a crowd full of zombies on their phones. I think I’d rather stick with the 2017 run as my last DEP show for now.
The crowd energy was my biggest problem. Honestly I’ve been to small shows where nothing is working but if the crowd goes off….all is good.🤘
Kinda nice to see someone else pointing out the “zombie “ vibe. How can you stand still !!?? After a show I look at what I got in my phone and it’s jiggly shots of the stage, then a minute of the friggin floor. That’s why I sub to the jondohhshow 😂😂🤘🤘
I got tickets for Chicago but I'll probably give them away. I like the later shit this trash is terrible. Greg or bust.

Man its so lame to see all the cellphones at a Dillinger show.
As an old timer, the whole crowd was extremely disappointing to me. Barriers, way too much space in the pit. It will never be like it used to be. Oh well.
They ended Clip The Apex with the final part of Vam Damsel ❤️
Good times🤘
The first time I heard “Van Damsel” was as a coda for “Clip the Apex…”

Show was out of this world.... So glad we went down to this. Wish I would have done 3 days in a row.
3 days would have been a lot!
Man. He’s a girl dad. And now he’s breathing fire. Brings tears to my eyes. So much love.
What an entertainer!🤘
I’m just gonna say, as a 40 year old Dillinger fan since ‘01, I ain’t even mad. People have Simon Brody shit too. This is nostalgia/memory lane shit for me. Still kicks ass. Is it the “same?” Naw, but it ain’t bad at all. I’m glad they did this, and it they were coming to Dallas, I’d be there.
People *gave*
Also, I saw them 12 times, and there were always cell phones at shows. Y’all must be a a shit ton older than me. lol
🤘
Please like and share the video and subscribe to the channel if you made it this far! Thank you! ua-cam.com/channels/IRzOW7HUFXCpMyTXEJzzZA.html
The crowd doesn't seem to get it and the band doesn't seem to care at all. If you didn't see these guys back in the 90s, you really missed out.
I know what you are saying, but I think if this show was in a 300 cap venue with fans instead of the huge monstrosity it was in with a bunch of hipsters......
@@thejondohhshowI mean when I was at no values and I saw them there wasn’t a single person who wasn’t going crazy from FOH to the stage where I was but I would love to see DEP in a small insane venue

I was there on the Sunday - and I've been a longtime fan - seen them probably 15 times or so over 20 years. The venue didn't really suit the event imo, as beautiful as it is - too cavernous and echoey, lots of room on the floor. Also - and I don't want to be too judgemental, but I don't think Dimitri's performances have been that great and it did take some of the wind out of the whole thing imo. Also, they're just not the same band anymore, you're never gonna get back that early magic - especially if you've seen them as many times as I have over the years.
@simongander3089 It will never be what it used to be. Kudos for trying I guess?
