nirvana's song "polly" and Korn's song "daddy" are 2 of the most disturbing songs i've ever heard but i respect these bands for bringing this truth to light because it doesn't need to be swept under the rug, awareness needs to be spread about people that prey on women and children to make the world a more safe place

This song is so beautiful. It was critiqued for its violent nature but I think that discomfort it caused in society was so important. If the song didn't disturb the peace in society, the song's inner message wouldn't make an impact. Kurt understood how barbaric these acts were, and wrote them into a beautiful song, that brought attention to them.

I thought the whole thing was interesting. The beginning info was a first for me. A lot of channels have videos on UA-cam I can’t click off quick enough because of that ultra shitty over processed, empty calorie modern pop made by non-musicians on laptops.
