These are lovely combinations. The washed green is a pretty colour pencil, but my favourite of all the Black Widow's is Washed Purple. It's just such a versatile and useful colour shade.
This is so timely! I just got my black widows and I’m slowly trying to learn how to best use them. I would love a hair combination sheet! For blondes, brunettes, redheads, and even some fun pinks and purples. Also skin tones would be nice. Those are 2 areas that are quite tricky for me. I love your content and I thank you for all your hard work!🥰

Hi Pamela! Another great video and a tremendous help to someone who new to adult coloring. I would love to see a 4th transition color and would love to do a page in a Johanna Basford book using the Black Widow Pencils. I have the entire BlackWidow Sets and the Dragon one ordered. I haven’t had the chance to color with them, but plan on it soon.😂😂 Please keep up the hard work and dedication that you put into your videos. I learn so much from you! Beautiful combinations!! 🌈 One could use this inspiration to create similar combinations from sets they own. Kinda like color pallets! 🎨 I find I'm so drawn to the bright and bold colors. I might have trouble using the muted tones...🤔

Pamela, these tri-combos are truly gorgeous. There isn't a one of them that wouldn't be useful. I know you talk about leaves a lot, which is beautiful, because leaves are not just the green crayon, if you know what I mean, so you show all these possibilities. In fact, every one of your combos could be used on leaves, and most on flowers...maybe all on flowers, because a white or pale flower would have gray in it. There's so many places to go with these combos. I'd love to see 4-color combos all the way to 10!!! I have a background in botany, and also geology, and I see a lot of these combos in crystals and rocks, not just flowers and leaves. I'm a fan of tourmaline crystals because they do these color transitions, and sometimes they are almost abrupt, without a lot of blend, and usually have a "clear" part. You could do turquoise stones 15 different ways, and opals a zillion different ways, and even the humble granite is so full of combos!!! So playing with pencils is as much training the eye as anything, and you've trained your eyes to see the colors for what they are in the natural world. This is your gift to all of us other colorists out there. I just want to watch more of your videos. Thank you

I thought about adding skin tone combinations in this video. But, then I thought there is a light and dark skin tone set that are purchased separately. If someone just had either of those sets, it would probably be easy to put together some colors to color skin? That is a great idea though. Did you know the skin tone sets are sold separately as their own sets?

I havent gotten a chance to order the new set yet due to limited funds I have on hand so hopefully next month or someone decides to bless me with a new set of my own down the road. Lol But I am so happy to see these new colors are an awesome addition to the whole black widow colored pencil family.
I have no idea if that is ever in the plans. If I had to guess, I'd say probably not as they older sets came out years ago. That would be great though and I would love colored barrels instead of colored tips.
Have you tried castle art color pencils I am getting them for Christmas like there gel pens I love them so much ☺️🤗 I make pictures for all my friends I am working on my dragon life coloring book with the castle art gel pens and they work great for me 😍🥰
They are smooth and they are bright and beautiful but some can starch your picture but they still wonderful to use my aunt or sister get them for me for my birthday or Christmas they last four months but I color every single day I work in a work shop we build things like electric fence or coal mine cart things but we have three break so I can color

The Dragon Life book by Deborah Muller?? I love that book so much. I love all her books! I have the Castle Arts pencils but don't use them too much. They have a few new sets coming out. I have an email out to the company and am waiting to hear back from them. They came out with a metallic set, a pastel set which you will soon see me reviewing sometime this week, and a new 120 Gold set that is only available on Amazon UK at the moment. I am trying to get more information on the new 120 Gold Standard set they just released so hopefully they'll get back to me soon.
When you get your dragon pencils are you going to put all of them in color order? I hope you have a video of that, because I want mine in order as well. I printed your combinations sheet and I've been jotting down all these blends. I appreciate all the work you do for your viewers.

Yes, they are my favs under my Prismacolors along with the Arteza set I have. I have heard that Artezas have changed and have not been as consistent. I have an older set. So, with that being said, I would definitely recommend these. The best part about the Black Widows is that you can add on as you can afford to do so. There will soon be 7 sets in total. I have them all listed in the description box of the video. I also have a video from over a year ago where I put all the sets together into color order. There are also several coloring tutorials on my channel.
Very interested in you doing color alongs in general. Recently, I bought Debbie Macomber’s Ver Merry Christmas Coloring Book and a lot of those pictures are good. Of course, anything out of Romantic Country, Forest Girl, or the Nice Little Town Series would also be good
That is the date Amazon has because they're on the way to the warehouse as we speak. As soon as they receive them the end of next week, they should be shipped out. This was the latest update from Albert (the creator of these pencils).
