Super ships can go either way , you can have 1mil + with premim accout in good game , or -300k without premium and bonuses , but in my experience being in around 100k+ is most common.
Not only are the super ships in the t11 slot on the tech tree, but when you use the survivability expert captain skill, you get 11 stacks of the hp boost

If the enemy Annapolis used AP (or worse - the burst), they would've killed tanc9101 first - and staying bow-on to the Mino was way safer than trying to turn out. Unless the Mino conga lined all the torps into tanc9101 (which is unlikely, since tanc's hydro just went off the cooldown), they would've eaten one or two torps. The way they played instead, they chugged 30k damage from Mino alone and risked being removed by Annapolis.

Despite all the barriers to get these ships, the number of very bad players in Superships is very scary at this moment. These ships in hands of competent players really make a difference, but in the hands of potatoes they are just XP pinatas to help the enemy team. The number of blow out matches went up a lot since these things are in the game (90% of T10 games has 5 of them each side...). Match making decides more than ever the outcome of a game at the start and that is very bad.
The only time jingles seems to catch a break is when someone like me is watching on a small screen and doesn't know the game, even then. I still noticed the credit fudge up at the end 😂

Surprisingly, the economy of T11 is quite well balanced I think. The fact they're credit sinks prevents ppl from playing them all the time. If they were only expensive to buy but "normal" to run, you'd end up with solely tier 11 battles.
Try playing at tier 9 nowadays 😂... Tier 11 Vs tier 9 is unfortunately a very common occurrence as a result. Would prefer to see super ships locked to tier 10 and above
@@phillewis1749 I think it might be because of all these t11-related missions right now. Normally novelties like this pass into oblivion within a patch or two, so I'm guessing frequency of T11 occurrence will be back to reasonable round about Christmas or so :)

Just to add to your commentary: If you have blue or red credit boosters on and do at least a 2k bxp game you can easily make 500k profit (with premium account of course). Meaning if you PAY for your redboosters or grind out / buy the blue ones, then you are sorted.
Not just that MM treats them as T11, you can't div a T9 with a Supership because to quote MM "div ships can't be more than one Tier apart" The biggest weakness is the same the Buffalo has, you get tempted a lot harder to bring those rear turrets into play when you really shouldn't.
I'd just like to point out that the two Lighthouse auction ships in question (Patrie and Edgar) were only *initially* on offer through the auction…they're now available the exact same way as the other superships and have been since at least the British battlecruiser line was released (credits and the associated T10 in the tech tree).
it still went against what WG announced for the superships and it is the reason, why you can see people, who do NOT meet the criteria, playing these ships (with questionable results)

Super ships actions went for credits with a base bit of at least the double price of the normal super ship and normaly winning bets of 3-4 times the base price. Wouldn´t call that "noob" friendly pricing either.
I'm now seeing rounds, especially on the weekends, where there is no less than 10 super ships, 5 per side!!! You got Annapolis, Conde, Edgars, and of course Eagles as well all over the place not giving a crap about playing the caps or trying to win rounds, they're just jerking off with burst fire modes to see how quickly the can crap on whatever tier 10 and 9s ended up matched with these credit sinks. Then of course you got 2 to 4 Shimas in there too so it's a wall of torpedoes all over the place as well.
It's amazing how servers not named ASIA have these kinds of gameplays where the team's BBs and cruisers actually push together allowing for fun gameplay and not just staying at 8-10 line and "kiting" (incorrectly).

I'm a casual player with over seven years of WoWS under my belt. If I wanted to I could buy at least four superships but I won't. The economy makes it a moot point.

If only war thunder followed that practice when it comes to top tier ground forces premiums and top tier premium jets. That being you have to have tier 5 or above to be able to buy those vehicles.
So about the lighthouse auction I can't speak for previous ones but in the last one my NA account couldn't bid on the Clausewitz, not that I planned to, the option was greyed out. I had the credits for the minimum bid and have the Hindy unlocked but I only have have two T10s on the account so don't have access to super ships.
The odds of not making a loss in these is to use the 160 % boost to credits and still you need to get your act together. A great economy mechanism for WG though, there are players willing to spend and all the rest should be obligated to them. They keep the game going

Yamagiri is a Shimakaze (with 6 torps per rack) that can switch torps mid-match and also has burst fire on its guns.
And the guns are actually good.

I've made money in World of Tanks playing tier 10's, it's actually pretty common but you need premium and an active credit booster.

Honestly on EU it's happens more often than not in my experience

Some languages do write "tank" as "tanc" - romanian for example.
I don't think having the T11 ships as a massive credit sink is bad. I think it's a bit too _much_ of a credit sink, but, in theory, it makes sense.
