At 85 I’m seeing all this for the first time! Wunnerful! Lavish production values, gifted people, great music. Life saved the best wine for late in the party. Nice.
I drive a school bus and every morning I get 5 minutes or so to connect with my elementary students before the teachers come out and they have to go into the building. I often use my phone to show them many different shows and today it was Lawrence Welk and they all got acquainted with his "vunnerful, vunnerful" show and music and got to start off their day with "a vun and a two and a tree." RIP Lawrence, thanks for the many memories.I am so grateful for these videos that allow me to share your "vunnerful" music with a new generation who otherwise might never have heard of youm
My grandmother would watch Lawrence Welk every Saturday night I didn't like it then but as I grew older I learned to enjoy it I sure wish I had her and my mom around today
I used to watch this show with my Aunt Anna...now I am about her age in 2020... Love melodic music in all genres...atonal and computer generated bass sucks!
Sandi Jensen's final appearance as a regular. She returned for Christmas Reunion and Milestones and Memories. This show came after the 25th Anniversary show. Larry Hooper was back after being absent from that show.
When Sandi left, so did I. There was something about these later seasons on Netflix he Welk show that signified a change I didn't really like. I think he had too many singers. I never quite cottoned to the Aldridge sisters, Kathie Sullivan and especially Jim Turner. No disrespect intended but Turner was a very poor replacement for Clay Hart whose voice was as smooth as velvet!
Love it!!! Lawrence Welk has a great show! Love Hooray For Hollywood!!!
Mom used to watch every week when I was growing up... thank you Lawrence Welk for making her some happiness 🙏

Looking for the show where Norma Zimmer sings Black Sabbath.
You are? Heck, I'm looking for the show when Jo Ann Castle was playing "Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat."
Wunnerful, wunnerful!
Do you know where I can find the rest of it? I'm specifically looking for the Israeli Folk Dance from this episode :)
Is there anywhere that has the rest of it? I'm specifically looking for the Isreali
Hollyweird. More like it.
Lawrence Welk was harder than Snoop Dog.

Cheesy set and lighting made for early color television. I can't beleive my parents watched this show religiously.
