Harrison Okene actually changed his mind about never going back to sea. After a while, he overcame his fear and ended up becoming a certified commercial diver. I believe it was motivated by wanting to help and give back the same way the divers that saved his live did.
I love the way Wendigoon is able to deliver some of the darkest horror and true crime content in such a charming and relaxing way. It's so opposite to the creepy atmosphere of these other creators (not that there's anything wrong with that style, of course.) I feel like the scariest situations imaginable would become relaxing with Isaiah narrating them.
Its this weird, factoryesque style of making videos now. A lot of aspects shared with writing essays in school and it becomes obvious how the scripts written with many, not just these guys, becomes more and more repetitive as their script vernacular makes its way into their own day to day speech. Making it worse.
Trapped in a sunken tugboat for 60 hours, in a small bathroom, halfway submerged in water, with just darkness and probably sea creatures around you, is just plain unimaginable 😰
If I'm not mistaken another video said sharks were circling around him and unfortunately eating his crew mates and they would occasionally bump into his legs.
I can't even walk normally in our living room at night to get some water. I rush sometimes even run lol. I cannot imagine how traumatic it is to be trapped in complete darkness under a ocean for 60 hours.
"shes still sleeping" is absolutely heartbreaking. I can't even begin to imagine how he felt after finding out. So happy he had people to help him through it
I saw it in a video before (I think it was Nexpo,) and the amount of comments condemning that guy was so awful. Maybe it is a little strange that he would keep the video public but come on, people grieve in their own ways. It's probably the last memory he has of her before his entire life was changed forever, how can anyone blame him for wanting to hold onto that? His last moments of normalcy with her and if that helps him cope with the loss, then fuck anyone who rags on the guy for it. If I was in her position and that video helped with the mourning process, I would want it kept.
Agreed. By the same token, many of these types of videos would have been met with intense skepticism before social media. Since? People will believe literally anything.
even among so much disturbing content, the "she's still sleeping" video haunts me the most. having something like that happen is one of my worst fears, and my heart goes out to the husband who had to go through such an awful experience
Yeah, that one hurt my heart. Death is something that will happen to us all, but, the circumstance of not knowing how and when and to who are what can be scary.
Honestly I think it's really sweet. Like it's extremely sad that he had to go through that and she died, but the way he acts and all the people coming together in the comments to try and comfort him is just so sweet imo.
A couple years ago I just walked into my room, saw my cat where she always was, patted her and she was gone. I can imagine what that man felt was what I felt, tenfold. My heart goes out to him.
Hearing about that creep hurting little hamsters makes me absolutely horrified and outraged. I have a Syrian hamster who I absolutely adore, and I would never even thing of harming her in any way. She gets plenty of snacks and cuddles, and we play every day. She's a sweet tiny girl and I'd defend her with my life.
i find the idea of someone gouging their eyes out and then having to go through the laborious process of mailing them to youtube's headquarters - all without being able to see - unintentionally hilarious
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh myyy eeeeyyyyyysssss Okay so this is to... uh youtube... california... damn it, would be easier if I wrote the envelope first. Uh oh Where are the stamps? *Only YOU can prevent this!* Make sure to have pre-written letters to web services before you watch their videos in case a cursed video makes you blind.
Damn Nick Crowley really went “you want a Halloween special?” And got fuckin blameitonjorge, barelysociable, disturban, nexpo, and Wendigoon all in one dark iceberg video. Fucking amazing
Mereana Mordegard Glesgorv is always the funniest thing to me. Like out of every possible video to make a creepypasta out of, it's a very normal-looking guy just sitting there with a red filter. Also the "they mailed their eyes to youtube" is so unintentionally funny because every time I hear it I just think "well how did they send the envelope"
Casually walking into the post office with no eyeballs and going "yes I would like to mail this suspicious package to UA-cam headquarters" and nobody questions anything about it or bothers checking the contents.
@@andromedasgarden A lot of early creepypastas feel like that. Jeff the Killer and Sonic.exe come to mind, but if I remember correctly, at least one of those was _meant_ to be a poorly written self-parody, but people ended up missing that and thought it was unironically scary.
Yeah it reminds me of those urban legends that kids pass around in small towns. As an adult it's all very silly, and even as a kid you assume it's not true, but there's still that tiny little bit of fear and doubt... Just enough to haunt you lol
She's still sleeping was so freaking sad, but I'm so glad that his UA-cam community was so loving and supportive. He seems like such a sweet heart and totally deserved all that love and support.

It's morbidly funny to me that Nick just talked about spooky youtube hoaxes, but when it comes to Wendigoon he's just talking about people straight up dying.
Yeah, I liked this video but it was disappointing seeing Nick talk about the basic fake stuff instead of the true crime and real life horror topics, as Nick has expertise in delving into more mature topics.

Harrison's case was absolutely chilling, imagine being trapped in a bubble of air for 60 HOURS, contemplating your death just waiting for the oxygen to run out and for you to die but then by some miracle you get saved. Im so glad that the rescue crew was able to get to him in time, Just seeing the horror mixed with relief in his eyes was terrifying.
I grew up super religious and the sounds from hell was shown to us as a completely real audio to scare us as kids. Now i know its not even plausible, but it does make me angry that they tried to scare us into staying religious. Still freaks me out to this day because of my childhood.
That's the only way religions can stay alive, through fear mongering . They obviously don't have any evidence, and with people these days being more skeptical than ever, the only way you can even try to ensure that your religion continues to exist is to recruit your members before they reach the age of reason and once they do, you instill fear in them. This is blatant child abuse, nothing less, and it's perpetrated by people who have the audacity to tell you what's good and bad. It makes me sick, and I'm sorry you had to go through this. I can't even imagine what that must be like.
I have been watching Nick Crowley for some time now, and i would never believe i would find myself in one of his videos. Im the guy with the glasses at 35:54 and i felt so shocked when i saw Albert Soaps name in the video. He was one of my best friends, truly heartbreaking what happended to him... i miss him everyday
I feel so sorry for the man that didn't know his wife had passed in her sleep. I went through a similar situation with my dad. They're perfectly okay one moment, and the next They're gone. That's something hard to get over. You wonder if you did something like waking them up accidentally would've saved them. I think about this everyday.
My dad passed in his sleep too and I get stuck wondering what he was dreaming or if he had a bad dream too. It worries me and makes me feel so sad I never got him a donut before he passed because he was diabetic. I got him a big thing of Fried okra a week before his passing but I also regret not seeing him that weekend before he passed because my brother invited me to come eat dinner with them and I was busy shopping all day so I said I wouldn't come by
The woman harassing the little girl with Huntington's disease and the guys trying to hurt those innocent women disgusted me. How do people like this even exist.
Hey, as a guy from Denmark, I just wanted to say Albert Soap, better known here as Albert Dyrlund was so much more than “just a youtuber”. He was an absolutely massive celebrity in Denmark and many young people, including me, grew up watching his videos. He helped shape danish UA-cam and to see him pass away so young, knowing he had great ambitions for the future is just crazy heartbreaking
@@MesudSarmanlu Guess it depends on the age group lol, ask any young person and they will def tell you who he is. I suppose adults just like young people consider some people “massive celebrities” that no one from the other age group know who are
If they gouged their eyes out, how did they fill out the envelope or find the mailbox? Also, did they previously know the postage for the weight of their own eyes?
the segment on flakka videos made me so sad. not stimulants, but i’ve been hooked on drugs since i was 16 and seeing the things that human beings will put themself through just to get their fix is truly heart breaking. these are living people with souls, families, childhoods, pasts, passions and interests, you could never predict what something like this will do to you and so many never come back from it. there are few things as devastating as drug addiction.
@@JTguitarlessons I wasnt refering to the topics discussed. I was refering to the fact that Wendigoon and Nick collabed and that they both clearly have alot of respect for one another and are happy to collab.
The thing that always puzzled me about Mereana Mordegard Glesgorv is how the eyeballs the viewers mailed got to UA-cam. Like, did they gouge their eyes out, look up the address and neatly mail them in or did they know they were going to gouge their eyes out and had already set up the envelopes for mailing or did they have a friend or family member that waited for them to finish gouging out their eyes so they could prepare the letter together? This kept me up more than the creepypasta did.
Al-Shoaibi's is the worst seizure I've ever seen; not just from a visual standpoint, but because of how badly it must've hurt when he came to. I had a really mild seizure after getting hit in the head at work once and even that felt like I'd stretched all of my muscles about a foot longer than they were supposed to go. I can't even imagine your neck pushing so hard it propels your entire body backwards like that.
My dad met and befriended Chalino when he worked as a valet in LA in the early 90s. Apparently, he promised to buy me a classic mustang for my quinceñera. It's kinda haunting knowing that he held me as a baby since I didn't know anything about him until my dad told me.
Wow..... that kid killing his teacher is so disgusting. You can see him putting on gloves as he walks into the bathroom, i cant even imagine what happened in there... I second the warnings about Leighton Labute. "Low IQ and severely autistic" is a ridiculous basis for the judge to assume he is unlikely to re-offend. The first Argentine serial killer, Cayetano Santos Godino "AKA" Petiso Orejudo was severely autistic and had a low IQ, and that did not prevent him from murdering several children and being an arsonist as well.

I do want to make a minor correction- the "hydrophobia" symptom of rabies can involve what looks like a fear of water, but it's more complicated than that. Rabies tends to cause aggressive throat spasms upon any attempts to swallow liquids, including saliva- even thinking of swallowing can induce spasms, which creates the appearance of "fear" of liquid. There's probably also a psychological component given we instinctually avoid uncomfortable or painful actions, but the fear presented is mostly the result of involuntary muscle spasming. ALSO, the "living dog head" experiment is generally thought nowadays to be Soviet propaganda, and depending on who you talk to, it was either completely fake or the dog's head only "survived" for a few minutes. You can't exactly...un-kill a brain by putting blood and oxygen back in it, unfortunately.
Thanks that bothered me as well. Also : Rabies still kills 50k to 75 k people mostly in India and Afrika since there are many stray animals - ao it's often chhildren who suffer a bite or scratch - and the vaxxines (PEP and autoimmun factots) have to be administered within a time span to (I believe 72 hours max.) after a bite OR even a small scratch. ( animals lick themselves and the virus is in the saliva) There are 2 foems od rabies, the typical known one "aggressive " one and the " paralytic one where mostly neurological symptoms occur like the animal being wobbly, going in circles , twitching or seizing, not following their typical circadian rythm etc. And many small villages are so far out, medical help isn't available in time, OR if they reach a facility, they don't have the vaxxines available.
No, you don't understand; I would've thought it crazy as well had it not happened to me, too. It was back in primary school. I was about 12/13 at the time, waiting with my friends to be picked up after school. We had ended a sports match super late, so we were the only ones present. We noticed a guy wearing all black walking down the street towards us. He looked scary, but we nervously laughed it off. A few moments later, one of my friend's aunt had come to walk him and his sister home, so they left. I kid you not, out of NOWHERE, that dark-clothed man bolted past us and repeatedly kicked the poor girl over and over. You'd swear we were playing hide and seek, the way we all dispersed in 2.5 seconds! After brutalising the poor child, he walked off like nothing happened. She was crying her head off as her aunt screamed in terror. Turns out, he was on drugs and apparently "possessed". However, I put my bet strongly on the former. Shocking stuff, I tell you.

If you care to scour the resources back far enough in history, you can find recipes for just about everything sooner or later. There have always been people with a penchant to avoid wasting anything. Hunting isn't easy, nor is it reliable. Sometimes you can find game to kill, and sometimes you just can't... The wind's against you. There's just too much dry and broken brush... A strange blight hits their favorite vegetation in the area and they migrate early... You can keep tabs on the herds for thousands of miles and year around, and they can STILL throw you for a loop... and you go hungry. Raising livestock has a trade-off. Reliable meat source, but all the hazards of protecting a herd of your own, avoiding internal turmoil (so turning out all the young males)... avoiding inbreeding past a species limit... predators... thieves from neighboring villages... blights on vegetation STILL wreak havoc... learning about hay and straw... what's passable... what's poisonous but the stupid beasts will eat it anyway... ...yeesh... If we ALL had to raise and slaughter our own meals, we'd be a LOT more respectful than we are of our food sources... BUT in the old days, there were recipes to eat or use just about everything but the squeal... ;o)
Imagine the terror the diver felt when an arm reached out for him, only to realize that someone had survived. He was very kind and said he did his very best to remain calm. He worried that if he panicked or would negatively impact the situation or scare the man. I think they are still good friends today the man and the diver. His tale of his experience is horrifying and amazing and his life is a blessing for sure! Hope he is living well and away from the ocean now!
Also it's an AWFUL idea to be scared if you're diving. It can lead to irregularities in breathing that can put your life in danger. It's easy to panic and die in the depths.

It might very well be a skit; however, there's a sticker on the window of the car that's from an auto auction for salvaged cars. Copart doesn't touch the inside of vehicles that are considered biohazards, such as those with blood and other body fluids in them. Copart picks up all sorts of cars involved in all sorts of losses, including crime scene cars. Contrary to rumours of his death, or being taken by the angel of death, he was fit to play in the next game for Hajer against Dhamk. In fact, he is still alive and playing today in Tunisia or the United Arab Emirates.Still to this day people continue to label videos of the incident 'taken away by the angel of death' on UA-cam. It's called epilepsia cursiva. It is a very rare type of seizure and originates in the temporal lobe. (Right underneath where the opposition player's foot hit him) It causes psychomotor symptoms such as lip smacking, repetitive blinking etc, and in very rare cases can cause 'running fits' whether forward or backwards such as those seen here. It is quite rare to the point it isn't referenced in many medical texts outside of specialist neurology texts.

What pisses me off is how lenient the fines & jail sentences are. people are so desensitized to animal abuse. It's painfully awful and I agree with you wholeheartedly. @@whits_end_ funny, in my experience, people are much more desensitized when it comes to killing humans. The same people who might say about someone being shot by the cops without need that "they deserved it" due to some minor criminal acts they committed, will completely lose it, if a dog is killed. Don't get me wrong, animal abuse is horrible, but it's absolutely weird to me that many people seem to have more of a problem with animals being abused or killed, than they have with the same happening to people. Your post, actually being case in point, so many horrible true cases being referenced here, and you and the OP chose to comment about three frigging hamsters and old experiments on dogs.
@@whits_end_ If you see what you honestly believe are criminal animal abuse videos, on any social media platform, you can try and report them and their publishers to a wide variety of police agencies. You can also band together with others, to file these kind of criminal complaints. You're right, when you said that professional studies show that many adult serial killers said that they liked to torture animals, or got caught doing this, when they were children. The police you complain to may not have the resources, for various reasons, to pursue your complaint. But remember to be polite and honest at all times, when you approach a police agency. If nothing else, they may keep your complaints on file for years, and they'll know about these crimes, and they may share them with other police agencies for eventual prosecution. Don't downplay these crimes, or be misled into thinking that those who complain about them aren't also worried even more about other crimes like those against humans, because there's no way of telling if someone doesn't care about them as much or even more, without asking him or her directly.
Chalino even after 30 years is still very influential in music. he has gotten recognition from snopp dogg and many other singers. at the time his music catered to a specific community when no one else did. he didn't deserve to die but he was a very brave man.

The man who completely lost it after seeing his cows die always fw me. I know its already been said but this was the man's income, and even having to sell one of the cows is really hard. Just to see them all dead and him literally losing pretty much everything in that one moment just breaks my heart. Something we would think is really horrible, but could possibly move on from relatively easy, that completely devastates his whole family just sucks man. Idc if she called him the worst name possible, or she punched his arm, to punt her in the face like a football is absolutely disgusting
Not only would they be his income, but I imagine that they would be his companions as well. I can't begin to think of how devastating it would be to lose the very things that supported your family and were your closest friends. They were either very sick or they were poisoned by someone or something. Either way, very sad to see. I hope that the man managed to get new cattle and that they're thriving under his care and attention.
@@GirtheAlienGoldfish it is really, really hard to lose a farm animal. i knew a few people who cried for days because they had to sell a cow, or lost a chicken to a coyote
It’s the kind of devastating, all-encompassing loss many of us couldn’t even fathom, especially considering it appears to be a developing or fairly poor country where it’s highly likely that no type of government or social support services exist and a low possibility that any family or friends might be in a position to help him get back on his feet.

Harrison Okene actually changed his mind about never going back to sea. After a while, he overcame his fear and ended up becoming a certified commercial diver. I believe it was motivated by wanting to help and give back the same way the divers that saved his live did.

Its this weird, factoryesque style of making videos now. A lot of aspects shared with writing essays in school and it becomes obvious how the scripts written with many, not just these guys, becomes more and more repetitive as their script vernacular makes its way into their own day to day speech. Making it worse.

Can we all agree that it was easier to scare people back when videos looked like they were shot on a potato?

Also :
Rabies still kills 50k to 75 k people mostly in India and Afrika since there are many stray animals - ao it's often chhildren who suffer a bite or scratch - and the vaxxines (PEP and autoimmun factots) have to be administered within a time span to (I believe 72 hours max.) after a bite OR even a small scratch. ( animals lick themselves and the virus is in the saliva)
There are 2 foems od rabies, the typical known one "aggressive " one and the " paralytic one where mostly neurological symptoms occur like the animal being wobbly, going in circles , twitching or seizing, not following their typical circadian rythm etc.
And many small villages are so far out, medical help isn't available in time, OR if they reach a facility, they don't have the vaxxines available.
The guy who kicked that stranger in the face is just insane. What would ever turn you into a person like that ????

You know, I didn't think I saw this video but now with that description I do think I had seen it as a broken neck rather than angel of death.
holy shit, i just googled that video. its disturbing how he moves.
FOR THOSE WHO WONDERING:
Abdulrahman collapsed after a kick to the neck and had a dramatic seizure. He was removed from the game and immediately taken to hospital.

The divers who rescued the guy-and the man himself-did an amazing job. Perfectly communicated everything that needed to be done, when, how to do it, in such a calm and positive way that even without any diving experience they all got out calmly and quickly with zero trip ups.
Really outstanding job by everyone involved. Communication with rescuees, divers, and the dive master up top are absolutely vital and the way everyone handled the situation was perfect. Total textbook example of how to rescue dive properly.
I sort of wonder if the guy thought he was just hallucinating, because he remained extremely calm the whole time. (Also side note, the voices are high because they are on Tri-Mix gas, which is Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Helium)
I was wondering that too. Watching the video, I felt like I could see in his eyes the question of ‘Is this real? Or is this the end?’
This video randomly popped up in my recommended and I just want to talk about Shannon for a minute. I got to meet and spend the weekend with her before she passed in the falls, as I was dating another whitewater kayaker at the time and who also was kayaking those same falls days before. It cannot be said enough how tirelessly the other kayakers she was with that day worked to get her out of the falls to make sure her family could properly put her to rest.
Fun fact: due to their incredibly similar composition, you can replace eggs with blood in baking recipes. So the blood soup thing doesn’t surprise me.
There are various traditional foods around the world that include blood as an ingredient but it is cow or othe animal blood. The black soup that was featured in that video (Svartsoppa) is actual Swedish traditional food but of course in reality is never made from human blood. Animal abuse is really one of the most vile things a human being can post online, but I am glad that they expose themselves so that they can be doxxed & arrested. What pisses me off is how lenient the fines & jail sentences are. We need to pressure politicians & use the fact that serial killers always start with animals before they move on to children & the elderly as an excuse to make the sentences more substantial.
people are so desensitized to animal abuse. It's painfully awful and I agree with you wholeheartedly. It's sad that the act of abusing animals isn't enough and the argument for more severe punishments has to include "statistically people who abuse animals will move on to abusing and harming people as well." Makes me want to scream.
