In my Volvo XC90 automatic centralized locking system had to be programmed by the dealer because they charged for such feature. Man, I love your video. Such an amount of insightful information. Made me want this car.
Thank you so much for this very good video with a lot of practical tips about important details (like position of exhaust pipe, volume of cleaning liquid tank, ...). As you say yourselves the car journalists generally do not report about these important technical differences. I completely agree with you that the Peugeot Traveller is cheaper but at the same time better than the VW T5 / T6 in a lot of points. The VW T5 is a car of 2003. The VW T6 (2015) and T6.1 (2019) are actually only face lifts of the T5. So T6 and T6.1 are also actually based on a old platform of 2003 and have only a few improvements. That is why in my opinion the T6 / T6.1 is much too expensive for an old technology and I agree with you that the Peugeot Traveller is a better and cheaper alternative. Anyway today it is also important to compare the Peugeot Traveller with the new VW T7 (2021). In my opinion VW improved a lot of points with this new T7: - based on modern MQB platform (like current Passat, Golf, ...) - better drive comfort than T6 (similar to Traveller or even better) - theoretically less noisy than T6 (but I tried the T7 and actually I am not so sure) - seats are much easier to move and remove, very flexible seat configuration - T7 is 1,90m high (against 2m high for T6) - T7 is 2,25m wide incl. side mirrors (against 2,3m wide for T7) - T7 is approx 200kg lighter than T6 ... However the T7 is not perfect and some points are better in the T6 or Peugeot Traveller: - max. 7 seats in the T7 (perfect for me but some people needs 8 or 9 seats) - T7 is 4,97m long = slightly longer than T6 (4,90m) but actually smaller inside (almost no trunk available in T7 with all 7 seats installed) ! - ... Currently I hesitate between Peugeot Traveller (or Citroen/Toyota) and VW T7 for my next car. And your video is helpful. Thanks again.
Thanks for such a detailed answer. Of course, each car has its pros and cons. But there is one important detail that VW probably won't have. I mean soft suspension. German cars have always been tough and will probably stay that way. Peugeot is a very comfortable soft car. I fell in love with him for it. In addition, I believe in the reliability of the Japanese Aisin automatic transmission. As far as I know, this model is put on Toyota and Lexus. I like the pockets in the sliding doors and the speed limiter. I wonder if the T7 finally made a speed limiter or is it still just a beep?

Great video but buyer beware with the Peugeot vans and their other brands Citoren etc, they have massive adblue issues. Thanks for this intersting review, I didn’t realize there are so many interesting and practical solutions in this van. I only wish Peugeot/Citroen/Toyota made a version like Multivan, with seats folding into a bed. That would make it a basic campervan.
I had a multivan with a sofa that folds out into a bed. I've used it twice in 6 years! It's only beautiful in dreams. In real life, this couch is not comfortable to sleep on. But most importantly, it is very heavy. Getting him out of the car is extremely difficult. In fact, this is a very large heavy thing that gets in the way in the car. If you want to transport any cargo. For example, a closet, refrigerator or bicycles, then this turns into a problem. Need help to get him out. For many years I dreamed of a car with such a sofa. But only when I bought the T5 multivan, I realized how inconvenient this thing is. Yes, it's a paradox This is probably why, many years later, VW abandoned this sofa. T7 no longer has it. The Germans made seats like Peugeot. Probably understood that it was more convenient and practical.
@@pulsetechnology2433 Thanks for your comments, I’m having this dream too :-). I had Renault Trafic converted into a campervan with pop-up roof but it was filled with furniture and proved impractical for every day use. So now I thought a Multivan type van would be a better compromise. But I can imagine how inconvenient it could be to remove a heavy sofa when you want to transport something big. A campervan like VW California is also attractive but is very expensive and can take only 4 passengers. So it looks like your Peugeot may be the optimum choice :-)
Thank you. When I bought the Peugeot Traveler, the Hyundai Staria wasn't on the market yet. But before buying my last car VW Caravelle, I went to test drive a Hyundai H1 (Starex). I didn't like the car. Poor visibility of the road, handling is not very good. I also don’t like rear-wheel drive in Hyundai, short rails on the floor. There is no possibility of transformation of the cabin. And I also noticed that Hyundai rust very quickly. Russia has severe winters. Here, the poor body quality of Hyundai minivans is very noticeable. And my dad has a Hyundai iX35 (Tucson). It doesn't rust at all. There is a feeling that Hyundai minivans have problems with the body. I looked at reviews of Hyundai Staria. I think the car is small. There is no interior transformation. thanks for the positive feedback) I have visited Turkey several times. You have a lot of volkswagen Transporter that have tuning and improvements. Peugeot almost never saw. Are these cars delivered to you from France?
@@pulsemultimedia first of all Volkswagen is very popular brand in Turkey. Streets are full VW or VW's group cars. So this is also reflected in Transporter models. (I am writing this message at a cafe where there is 2010s model Transporter in front of 😀) Another popular model is Mercedes Vito , but this is mostly used for tourism purposes (transfering tourists from place to another / excursions...etc.) Peugeot, on the other hand, is popular brand for regular cars, but Traveller model is not that much popular, I don't see them so often in roads. They are imported from France. I see Traveller models on local Turkish second hand sale websites. As mentioned in my previous post, the some of options are not the same as the model which you presented (I.e. seats, floor rails are major differences). Your model seems better in these options.
Thank you for your detailed review. The exhaust outlet not reaching to back of the car is not good. The smoke outlet midway under the body will soot the underpinning badly in long term. Additionally, there is risk of exhaust gas to penetrate into the cabin from floor.
Why did we chose VW? Quite simple, you've got 4Motion(awd). I can't understand why nobody is interested anymore in making awd vehicles.. + the seats stop at every position, meanwhile with the Citroen we only had like 3 positions.
@@pulsetechnology2433 where do you get the 4x4? In my country it's only 2FWD unless you go to a specialized firm(dangel), which costs a lot. We did test the Citroen and we'rent too happy with the arrangement of the seats. There are many good things about the car, it just wasn't the right choice for us.

A két elhúzható tolóajtó beleért a hátsó sárvédőkbe, a festéket megsértve. A tolóajtók mozogtak, a támasztó bakok leszedték az oszlopokról a festéket. A Tom Tom fejegység a legváratlanabb pillanatokban lefagyott, újra indult hosszú percekig bootolva. Kicserélték, de az se volt jobb. Most jön a lényeg: a kocsit 180LE 2.0 HDI motorrla rendeltem.

I have visited Turkey several times.
(I am writing this message at a cafe where there is 2010s model Transporter in front of 😀)
Another popular model is Mercedes Vito , but this is mostly used for tourism purposes (transfering tourists from place to another / excursions...etc.)
Peugeot, on the other hand, is popular brand for regular cars, but Traveller model is not that much popular, I don't see them so often in roads. They are imported from France. I see Traveller models on local Turkish second hand sale websites. As mentioned in my previous post, the some of options are not the same as the model which you presented (I.e. seats, floor rails are major differences). Your model seems better in these options.
Great
This van is from stalantis group wich is puogot, citroen opel, fiat and toyota
Thank you for your detailed review. The exhaust outlet not reaching to back of the car is not good. The smoke outlet midway under the body will soot the underpinning badly in long term. Additionally, there is risk of exhaust gas to penetrate into the cabin from floor.
Why did we chose VW? Quite simple, you've got 4Motion(awd). I can't understand why nobody is interested anymore in making awd vehicles.. + the seats stop at every position, meanwhile with the Citroen we only had like 3 positions.
I don't quite understand what you are talking about. Peugeot Traveler is available in 4x4 version. The seat adjustment step in the rail is 2-3 cm.
@@jacklesg2527 Peugeot Traveler, Citroen Spacetourer and Opel Zafira Life are assembled in Russia. Previously, French-made cars were brought to us. Now we have a big factory that assembles these cars. They are delivered to Russia and Europe. There is the usual factory equipment 4x4. You can buy from a dealer without any problems.
Here is a 4x4 advertisement in Russian.

@@pulsetechnology2433 Not chance to buy it in EU. That's wierd. Only way how buy it for us is order new P/C/O/T car with change in Dangel company. But it's very expensive, only for manual shift and you have to keep your reserve wheel inside car then, not under (that's logical - back differencial there).
Anything is better than a VW.
I hope VW is watching.
👌👌👌👌👌
To cut a long story short, Peugeot offers far better value for money than Volkswagen.
Take a bow, Stellantis.👏👍🤝
Legend
Best review ever!
Thank you)
French cars rock imo. Maybe lucky but never a major problem
Not sure Peugeot can fix them when they go wrong.
Well what about fuel injectors 😏 this is where Mercedes vito \v class etc or a vw multivan or even a ford can overtake easily your traveller.anyway it good to have options for less 40 k euros and be happy with a full option minivan, but German vans are another league , truth be told
You have to know that all this details are comung from Toyota.

Ok mate, I can see you are not a vw fan 😂
A két elhúzható tolóajtó beleért a hátsó sárvédőkbe, a festéket megsértve. A tolóajtók mozogtak, a támasztó bakok leszedték az oszlopokról a festéket. A Tom Tom fejegység a legváratlanabb pillanatokban lefagyott, újra indult hosszú percekig bootolva. Kicserélték, de az se volt jobb. Most jön a lényeg: a kocsit 180LE 2.0 HDI motorrla rendeltem.
I keep skipping video when u talk about VW. Stop bashing other cars and just talk about your review of current PUG. Annoying
Yeah, well to some point its fine that he has his opinions, but comparing a 2020 with a car released in 2003 is not the smartest!
