Dear Ben, THANK YOU so much for this review. I ordered the long wheelbase version with all available options in April, and am hoping delivery will be in September. My wife uses a mobility scooter, so will fit a hoist into the boot. Our first big trip will be six adults off to Croatia - so will need roof bars and roof box! GREAT REVIEW. ANDREW
Damn.... that was 100 times better review than most of profesional reviews out there. Great to hear it from perspective of someone who has a big family as well
I've been saying this for years about the size of SUV's like the Audis, BMWs, Range Rovers being a total waste when you can have a mini-bus for almost the same wheel-base. These 'Tour' vans have been very popular on mainland Europe for decades with the Renault Trafic/Opel Vivaro still the leader on price-features and easiest to drive like a car. Brits tend to care more about image than practicality though, hence being a big buyer of the lux SUVs. The problem now if these become popular in Britain, is the small parking spaces and narrow streets, tiny garages compared to mainland Europe. Britain's housing policy is aimed at densly populating as cheap as possible using big corporates. Polar opposite of Mainland Europe where you rarely see housing estates and when you do they are spacious with 'side of house parking'.
Mine is due for delivery in September!! Thank you so much for putting this up. I've ordered the 5 seat compact (I require a large boot), and haven't been able to even see one yet.... I haven't even seen a 180 EAT Allure in any configuration, so great to see its exactly as i had hoped. Thanks again!!
I have noticed in my new peugeot traveller that has a Hud fitted Is Because it lacks left right adjustment of the image projected on to the screen you have to move your head to see the full display when the sat Nav is active (the unit is not centred or aligned correctly in relation to the drivers seat/head position ,this is compounded by the fact like many other people have a weak left eye so the image is shifted to the right as i see it.obviously this is effect reversed if you have a weak right eye .ether the unit needs redesigned so that the HUD module or image can be adjusted for left and right orientation rather than just height .i have found it quite annoying. thanks for making your videos they where a great help.
Great review. I have 4 kids so it helped me make my mind and order a Traveller vip version, 7 seats 2.0 180bhp . Keep on uploading new videos. Great job.
I had reason to hire a van in November 2017 from Arnold Clark in my town. I had decided that a Renault Kangoo or Citroen Berlingo size was a bit too small for what I needed so I opted for what is dubbed a mid-range van which includes a VW Transporter and the Peugeot Expert. It was the new style Peugeot Expert that I was given, 5 speed manual diesel and very comfortable. Lovely vehicle to drive. As the man from Arnold Clark described it was just like driving a big car. Classy, well-built 17-reg. Would hire one again in a heartbeat.
I finally got my Citroen Spacetourer equivalent this week after a nearly 9 month wait. Early indications are that it will be great for the job. Economy is slighty better than expected (its a 1.6 manual). The only criticisms so far are the low geared steering, the handbrake being slighty out of reach and the lack of dashboard storage space. I really like the reversing camera. The car would be difficult to park without it.
My first time on your channel Ben. Half way through the video and paused to leave a comment. Such a great video and work. Keep going mate (not with children though) lol. I have 4 myself 🥳
Fantastic informative review. Well done, and loving the blog! Can you tell me what it's like to park please, are you able to park in standard UK parking bays, do you find it too long?
Really great review, thank you! I have "only" three children but even in such case I am thinking about that car for fantastic practicality and space of course :-)
My sister in law (with 2 kids) just got the SpaceTourer Business, they go camping and have loads of stuff they need to haul around. Kids love the size too.
By far the best review ever on that car and a very, very informative blog. Thank you so much, Ben! Good job! I now have the exact same version (Allure L2) for a test-drive over the weekend. The registration date is April 2017, but it seems to have no Android Auto connectivity... Do you maybe know when this was implemented? When you extend the trunk by moving the last row max forward, it actually is not possible to use the car with 6 occupants in the rear in a comfortable way, right? It seems to be awfully narrow... Also, for all the guys thinking about ordering the rear-facing seats in the second row (as I do): if you choose the business VIP version, you can have a full bench of 3 seats in the third row and two single seats in the second (with an optional table in between, if needed or wanted). If you have more than three toddlers who need to be fastened, you can get them into the car simultaneously, without having to fasten the third row first, while the rest has to wait outside. Also I hope to get some extra space for the trunk by the fact, that row 2 and 3 face each other.... Last question: Ben, you mentioned, that there was no place for the cell. Where do you use to keep it while driving?
tomtomjohnify The car in the base Allure spec gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so it's probably your phone, are you running the correct OS? Moving the rear most seats forward a few clicks (and not the whole way) is a good compromise for space as my kids don't use the acres of legroom anyway. It's only at the weekend we're all together so for the most part is fully forward. The Business VIP spec seems different to the Allure, might want to go through it with a fine tooth comb, I don't think park 180 is standard on VIP where as it is on Allure. The phone I have (iPhone 7 Plus) hangs out quite a bit but the tension of the mini cable being plugged in keeps it in place, only about twice has it come out with some sharp up hill acceleration. Details of the brochure and cable on my blog.
Thanks for the reply! I use a Sony Xperia XZ (Android 7.x). Should work with Android Auto.... But the menu doesn't even offer this, when pushing the button with the four squares on the right of the screen. It only says Apple CarPlay (grey) and MirrorLink. MirrorLink indeed isn't supported on my phone, only on older ones. I'll ask my dealer about this. I'm worried about the trunk/legroom-thing because we'll have to carry a pram AND four passangers most of the time. When I extend the trunk, to make the folded buggy fit in there, there is not too much space left for the rear seats. Besides I propably would have a hard time, getting something else (e.g. a beverage crate) in there. Still unsure. I actually don't want to get the L3-Version, since this would propably involve reduced suitability for daily use.
tomtomjohnify Our phil and ted's goes in sideways without having to move the seats forward. The mini parcel shelf is really useful for when the boot is full, and we put our cool box between the front seats. Have you checked the rear seats were not tilted back, it may have reduced the room a bit. L3 is bit too big, reduced mpg and higher lease prices compared to L2.
Hi, the best review, better than professional review you can find on youtube. great! Just a question, removing the single seats from the second and third row, how is the length, the width and the height you have? because I'd like to transport two bikes 29'' thanks a lot Roberto
The fact the seats recline makes them relaxing. They are quite confortable for a van, about the same as my Audi. Suspension is ok unless you drive it like a sports car, it’s soaks up bumps well.
This is brilliant, I have the same model etc on order to lease. I haven't been able to see one in a garage so have taken a gamble! It's reassuring to know you're happy with it and works for a large family. One thing I haven't been able to confirm is whether you are able to turn the second row seats around (so that the second and third face each other like the vw caravelle and Mercedes Vito). Would you mind advising? There's still no models local to me to go and have a look at. Many thanks, Laura
Laura Burgan I can check in the morning (camping at the moment) but from what I remember the seat belts are attached to the sides of the car so not sure how you'd strap yourself in, the belt clip is also fixed to the seat so probably not.
I thought thi might be the case seeing part of your video. If you wouldn't mind confirming at your convenience I would appreciate It. Hope the camping went well.
Thank you, I appreciate you trying this and did suspect this might be the case! Not a deal breaker, it is a feature I'd like for space and ease of getting in and out without moving a seat but to have this on the Mercedes or vw was significantly more money! Thanks again
I used this as a rental and was surprised by no cup holder or sunglasses holder. Otherwise it is way more convenient than my S-Max. The S-Max is significantly faster and better to drive thou.
Ben Hopkins. No Ben I haven't saw it in the flesh. I haven't even saw the car in the flesh. I'm in Northern Ireland and not one of the dealers had a demonstrator to see. I just saw the orange in brochures and on line.
Thx for the great review, which is by far the most comprehensive in the English language on UA-cam. I have the Citroen equivalent on order, to a slightly lower spec and found your review answered many of the questions that I had. I particularly was impressed with the ease of use of the touch screen interface and the rear camera. I don't have a large family but want the car mainly for hobbies such as camping or carrying bikes inside which the removable seats will make so easy. Have you had a chance to use the radar cruise control or emergency autobrake yet? How effective are they ? The van versions have a reputation with larger drivers for feeling cramped because of the bulkhead behind the drivers seat, I presume that is not a problem in your version for 6 footer ? Finally there seems to have been some criticism of the vagueness of the steering by some testers, how do you find it?
I don't have radar cruise (it's a £250 option), just normal cruise and speed limiter (very useful for road works with speed restrictions). I slammed by breaks on yesterday when some kid walked in front of the car, its stopped pretty quickly but i was only going a few miles an hour, the breaks are really smooth and light for such a big car. Its not cramped at all, there is lots of room for the driver, but later i will try and lower the seat as far as possible and see how much head room is left. The steering is bit different from my last cars but this is a van so don't expect it to be the same, its very easy to steer, not much feedback but really you don't notice. You feel like the king of the road because you're so high up..its great!
Thanks for the extra info, excellent. Unfortunately there is a long wait for my car, but I am hopeful that it will be with me by the end of November. I just noticed that the Camera also allows for the tow bar in the composite aerial image, which is great as I will have a fixed tow bar and it will prevent me 'parking by ear' as rear sensors rarely allow for the extra 6 inches that the bar sticks out. Thanks again.
I ordered mine mid Feb and it took 4 months and 1 week, I heard the Long version might take longer. I have a lease so opted for a Peugeot fit towbar, if you are fitting your own you will need vehicle specific wiring to ensure the parking sensors operate correctly.
Thx Ben, I went for the factory fit bar as unlike some manufacturers Citroen charge a sensible price for it, so it was an easy decision to include it in the factory order.
thank you for the review Ben, so many details exactly what I needed to know! Can I please ask if the back row of seats can tilt backwards to allow the kids to sleep on long journey for example?
Hey Ben - I'm thinking of getting a Traveller, just wondering following your years of owning one how has it been? Would you still recommend. Also, do you know if the car has a reverse park camera?
Thanks very much for the comprehensive info - so the front seats in the back of the car do not fold flat at all to allow passengers to stretch out on a long journey? Bit of a minus that - or to reverse the front seats and flatten the back seats?
Hi Ben, thanks a million for reviews, very informative! Just wondering, is there a way to take out seats and keep them up? Was thinking of using them in house when out
Well, good news, mine is coming next Friday! In orange :D Ben, question, Xenon lights. Is there a button to swap them when driving abroad, or are you just using stickers?
I ordered my Traveller on 25th of May and I still haven’t got it. The salesman emailed me yesterday to say it will be January at the earliest now. I’m seriously thinking about cancelling my order and getting my deposit back. Terrible service from Peugeot all round.
You are not the only one Gary. My Citroen Spacetourer equivalent is due at the end of January and was ordered a few days after yours. Its been a long wait.
Ben, thank you very much, this Video helps a lot. I still think of buying this car (or the alternative versions from Toyota or Citroën), definately I am Not Willing to pay for a VW T5 to T6. No my question: After several Werks, are you still happy with that car? Andy unexpected things in the meantime? Quality? Thanks and best, Felix
Cost! The deals were on the Peugeot and nothing else, now (2019) the deals have moved to the Citroen. I am talking about lease only, I dont buy outright.
Hello Ben, thanks a lot for this great review. We would like to ask you about the power rear doors. We are thinking about buying the Traveller for our family so my husband and I have borrowed the car for this weekend. However, we are a little bit disconcerted from the power rear doors. Firstly, we tried to open them in our garage way - and it's rather steep (about 18% angle). The doors were twitching during the opening and closing process. Secondly, we stopped on a slope with a smaller inclination (about 10% angle). The doors twitched only once at the beginning of the opening process and then move on smoothly. Could you please share your experience? Many thanks, Martin and Jana
Hello Jana. I have not opened the doors whilst parked on a hill as it's mostly flat where I live but I will endeavour to find a hill and try this out, i'm hoping they lock into place when opened as I wouldn't want them accidentally closing. Will reply back when I know more...
Hello Ben, it's very nice of you. Thank you for your kind cooperation:) Please be careful and first read user's manual about this power rear opening/closing door. They write that it's dangerous and the door could close or open suddenly, but they refer to hill upwards 20%... Thanks again. Jana
Hi Ben, hope you have a great time with your car;) We really have:) Just wondering about the rear doors again. Sometimes when I park at a slightly steep (definitely not so steep as before) road there is some crunching noise during the closing process... Have you got the same experience?
Great comprehensive review. Can I ask why you chose the Peugeot over the Citroen or Toyota? Waa it purely down to the leasing deal? Do you know who manufactures the engine?
Hi Ogotuwa. It's was mainly down to spec, the Allure has more standard kit than any other van on the market and with the lease deals nothing could touch the Peugeot Traveller for price. Check out my blog for some updates in what I like and don't like about the Traveller, remember no van is perfect. peugeottraveller.wordpress.com/2017/08/16/peugeot-traveller-the-good-the-bad-and-the-wish-list/
How much is it to fill it up from empty or light and how far can you realistically drive on a tank (town driving only and motorway only separately)? Thanks in advance.
Ben, thanks for a really useful review. I have been looking at a variety of ways to suit my smaller family but with a lot of camping equipment and a penchant for luxury :). The Traveller is a very promising option I hadn't considered. We test drove a Merc V class today and it was fab but, unsurprisingly, very very expensive. It also doesn't have some of the neat features your described in your review of the Traveller, at least not without being cost options. What annoys me is that my local dealers don't carry any demonstrators of the Traveller; I live in the West country and I've tried Barnstaple, Exeter, Plymouth, Salisbury and Taunton, so there is no way for me to get a feel for the car before taking the plunge. Can I ask did you demo the car before leasing? The Plymouth dealer also said it wasn't in production yet which seems impossible given your video and the fact that you have one!
Peter Earnshaw Hi Peter. I test drove the 90bhp Traveller Active (Std), which was all I could get my hands on, it's was Ok but nothing like the Allure. The v class is amazing, one packed near me, I have van envy but is it work £50k+, probably not. I ordered in Feb and it's been in production since then, but that was for standard lengths. Other may be delayed, not sure. Check out my blog for more details and pictures... peugeottraveller.wordpress.com
Ben, thanks, I appreciate your reply. I have located a demo one in Poole which is 2h away but possibly worth combining a trip with a visit to friends nearby. For me, as I have only two children ('only' two children is enough!) it's not so much about the extra seats as the extra capacity for camping gear, which we keep acquiring. Plus my kids are both
OK so we went to look at one and bought the one in the showroom! Without a test drive; I have your video to thank for giving me the confidence to do that.
Could you slide ski's underneath the seats? Just looking at renting a SpaceTourer for a skiing trip in France for 5 adults. Would appreciate your advice.
It's taking them too much time to implement wireless charging pads in vehicles especially this size they should have no problem to find room to place it. i know some pickup trucks have it on recent models, but common wireless charging is about 5 years old and we still getting distracted in vehicles by plugin tiny cables in phones.
tallll70 Wireless CarPlay has only been adopted by BMW which means regardless of your charge method you still need to plug in to use CarPlay and Android Auto (music, maps, calls etc). Understand some of that can run over BT but not all.
ok, i hear you, for that case i'm interested more of Android OS module available for Uconnect i have, instead of phone mirroring. That will add Android OS to infotainment and phone is only used as hotspot. But i just hope they will start adopting wireless charging for cars fast, regardless phone mirroring or not. I mean they can have some sort of vertical boots if space is limited.
I received an email from Peugeot U.K yesterday to say that Peugeot France have now put “Severe Constraints” on manufacturing and they have put production back again so production would be January at the earliest for a delivery of March. I have cancelled my order and got my deposit back. I think it’s disgusting that anyone should have to wait at least ten months for a car and if I were you I’d contact Citroen to chase yours up because you might never get it.
Hey Ben, could you explain your reasoning for buying an automatic with 180bhp? When I started looking into this car I also looked at this setup but lately I'm getting some doubts. I was comparing its specs with the 150bhp manual variant and they are almost identical, except for the torque and the fuel consumption. It got me wondering if buying the automatic really justifies spending 2500€ more. Don't get me wrong, I'm currently driving an automatic and it comes in handy in a number of ways but the price tag and the lack of performance difference with the two engine options in Traveller are really throwing me of. Kind regards
Hi. I lease the Traveller and the cost of going auto was only a few pounds more, I do about 13,000 miles a year and cannot be bothered to pump a clutch for all that distance. It’s a great auto box, very smooth and easy going. If the cost was £50/month more I probably would have second thought. I’m in my 7th year of owning autos and love them but some people hate them, personal and financial choice really.
very good review... one question... would you be able to mount the seats in the opposite direction? (facing the back of the car) or do they just fit on the rails facing forward?
What was delivery time like Ben? Mine was ordered in April, for 1st September. Not yet built (and factory closed). So put back to end of October...............
Did you order in the UK, was it a standard length? My order was submitted from my dealer on 15th Feb and I go the car last week of June so 4 and a half months (18 weeks). The French factory making Peugeot's do take a month off in August so I guess it's probably about right. Is it on a lease btw?
The European models have different seat setup, floor rails...etc. compared to models in Turkey (I really don't understand the double standards for this 😕)
Great review, thanks so much for the in-depth notes and the time this must have taken to prepare, shoot and edit. Did you consider the Citroen or Toyota versions at all and do you know if they're much the same? Also, I was interested to hear you used to have a Q7. I imagine big SUVs like that to have some other drivers not let them out of junctions etc. as much and wondered if this had been your experience and if it altered with the Traveller? Also, hats off for raising 5 kids! We have two and would struggle with a third!
Will - Thanks for your comments, I looked at the Traveller, Toyota ProAce Verso and Spacetourer but found the best kit for the money on the Peugeot. I lease cars and Peugeot are still offering great deals on the Traveller (my blog has link to the top model Allure at only £250 a month, which is a steal for a £40k car). The Q7 was great and I didn't really think anyone treated me differently although I do feel I let more van drivers out now, probably because we now see eye to eye. Raising 3 kids isn't much different to 2 but 5 has its own unique challenges, my wife is great with the kids and handles it very well, she's from a big family so it's nothing new. More details on the traveller here... peugeottraveller.wordpress.com
I, personally don't really like leather seats. For me, they are overrated and to be quite frank I can't stand them as nobody really wants a burnt bottom. There was a review of the Peugeot 3008 by very well respected Motoring journalist Juliet McGuire down in South Africa and she loved the sort of denim like material used in the review she had done for a week.
From the family point of view it’s easier to clean spills and mess of leather than material. I unfortunately have first hand experience in doing both. I also carried a reflective foil windshield cover around so heat wasn’t that much of a problem in the summer months.
First off, it's a commercial vehicle that has windows, seats and electric seats added. My (range topping) Expert 180 8 sp auto has most of these features BUT... plastics are horrible, infotainment is really poor compared to my last van a Renault Trafic with R link, yes it does have guide me home lights...just like my wifes 11 year old Seat Altea.... . What is great about the Expert/Traveller/5008/3008 is the refinement in road noise and suspension feel. Paint is also much better than the Renault...the 180 reversing camera IS a disapointment compared to the Renault although pictures are sort of clearer in the Peugeot. WHEN will a manufacturer take owner driver commercial vehicles seriously? VW pretend to but still manufacture to a standard of a basic polo or UP then charge you £40-50K for the pleasure of owning it. WHEN will a manufacturer take owner driver commercial vehicles seriously? VW pretend to but still manufacture to a standard of a basic polo or UP then charge you £40-50K BMW..build a van...you know you want to !!
Few small problems like the heads-up display fails to come up 1 in every 30 trips but nothing else to report really. It goes back next month (June 2019).
Thanx Ben for the great review. Please tell me if can you play video on the screen like a movie or live tv from a phone app. Also if there is a way for this version to put the middle row facing back. Thanx !!!
ANDREW
I really wanted the Long but the lease deals were all for Standard. Good luck!
Hi, wish you a great time, good weather and safe road to Croatia ( my Country :) )
Thank's for this review, it was very helpful, only got 5 children to🙃 think we'll be going for this car, greetings from Austria
the best review, congratulations,
Exited waiting for mine that yes exactly like that
Donde la compraste?
Damn.... that was 100 times better review than most of profesional reviews out there. Great to hear it from perspective of someone who has a big family as well
I wish I could make it by the gallon, try making 7 in a row! It's a luxury treat for 1 I think.

ricky I’m sure the Peugeot is more reliable than anything from JLR dare I say it more so than Audi etc.
Most people who get SUV or MPV have 3 children. These larger MPVs are better suited to people with either more children or need more storage capacity.
Mine is due for delivery in September!! Thank you so much for putting this up. I've ordered the 5 seat compact (I require a large boot), and haven't been able to even see one yet.... patmulligan1 glad you enjoyed it, I have a blog with loads of extra bits about the Traveller... peugeottraveller.wordpress.com

Pesmog Great news! The sensitive stop/start can be annoying too but overall after 6000miles I’m still very happy. No problems to report.
Good review. Easy listening voice and I didn't get bored. Would be great if you did more people carrier/mpv type cars. Good work.
My first time on your channel Ben. Half way through the video and paused to leave a comment. Such a great video and work. Keep going mate (not with children though) lol. I have 4 myself 🥳
Brilliant review mate! Looks like one of the best options i have for my next family car 👍👍
Fantastic informative review. Well done, and loving the blog! Can you tell me what it's like to park please, are you able to park in standard UK parking bays, do you find it too long?
Spot on proper car review
@Ben Hopkins Great review Ben, have you still got it and would you recommend it still? Thanks
I’ve rented this car and it’s really good .
Nice review, currently considering that and the vw transporter. Downsizing from a 15 seat transit
Really great review, thank you! I have "only" three children but even in such case I am thinking about that car for fantastic practicality and space of course :-)
My sister in law (with 2 kids) just got the SpaceTourer Business, they go camping and have loads of stuff they need to haul around. Kids love the size too.
I just like how they can’t incorporate a openable window for the rear passengers on all variants.
Looking forward to more updates on your blog and hopefully another video review soon.👍
What a brilliant "real life" review. Thsnk you..
Fantastic review I am considering this as I ve only got 4 plus grandma
Hi, great review …. Just 1 question - how much is the road tax ?
By far the best review ever on that car and a very, very informative blog. Thank you so much, Ben! Good job!

Have you checked the rear seats were not tilted back, it may have reduced the room a bit. L3 is bit too big, reduced mpg and higher lease prices compared to L2.
Hi, the best review, better than professional review you can find on youtube. great!
Just a question, removing the single seats from the second and third row, how is the length, the width and the height you have?
because I'd like to transport two bikes 29''
thanks a lot
Roberto
Check my Peugeot Traveller blog, details on seats and bikes are there... peugeottraveller.wordpress.com
You might be able to squeeze two bikes in, top and tail, my bike has 26" wheels, even then I still had room in the boot.
Ben Hopkins thanks a lot 😊
Very good review! Please let us know how comfortable are the seats. And the suspension. Thank you.
The fact the seats recline makes them relaxing. They are quite confortable for a van, about the same as my Audi. Suspension is ok unless you drive it like a sports car, it’s soaks up bumps well.
Encouraging :). I hope to test-drive one this week. Thank you.
Very good review. Enjoy it!
If you wouldn't mind confirming at your convenience I would appreciate
It. Hope the camping went well.
Laura Burgan Answer here: peugeottraveller.wordpress.com/2017/07/12/rear-facing-seats-on-peugeot-traveller/
Thank you, I appreciate you trying this and did suspect this might be the case! Not a deal breaker, it is a feature I'd like for space and ease of getting in and out without moving a seat but to have this on the Mercedes or vw was significantly more money! Thanks again
toyota has a version of this, called ProAce...I think. I wonder how the quality is different, maybe in few years we will be able to tell
They will be the same built in same factory
Great review. Good job! For a glasses holder why not use the spacious compartment on the top of the dash?
Thanks for the review, may I ask what is the maximum speeds you are legally allowed to travel on duel carriage ways and motorways?
I used this as a rental and was surprised by no cup holder or sunglasses holder. Otherwise it is way more convenient than my S-Max. The S-Max is significantly faster and better to drive thou.
Brilliant video packed with plenty of information.
très bon commentaire pour le traveller et avec toutes les explications
merci
Great review. 5 kids myself so this has helped my thinking.....!
Great review. I have the same car on order in orange but I won't get it until September as the factory closes for the whole month of August.
Gary Payne Awesome, have you seen the orange in the flesh? It looks red to me, either that or there is a red version (but not in their sales brochure)
Nice review, thank you. Is this L2 or an L3 version?
looking forward to a third thanks Ben
thank you for the review Ben, so many details exactly what I needed to know!
Bravo Ben!!! Nice trips!
I own the 5008 allure 7 seater ,and I love it
Thanks very much for the comprehensive info - so the front seats in the back of the car do not fold flat at all to allow passengers to stretch out on a long journey? Bit of a minus that - or to reverse the front seats and flatten the back seats?
Hi Ben, thanks a million for reviews, very informative! Just wondering, is there a way to take out seats and keep them up? Was thinking of using them in house when out
I dont see why not, prefer a sofa though :)
Can u move front seats forward and then back seats forward so you can u extra boot space and still have 3rd row leg room
Well, good news, mine is coming next Friday! In orange :D Ben, question, Xenon lights. Is there a button to swap them when driving abroad, or are you just using stickers?
No button I’m afraid.
Great review, was very useful. Thank you very much!
Very nice review, and very nice family car!!.
Thanks Ben for this very helpful video.
I ordered my Traveller on 25th of May and I still haven’t got it. The salesman emailed me yesterday to say it will be January at the earliest now. I’m seriously thinking about cancelling my order and getting my deposit back. Terrible service from Peugeot all round.
That’s crazy, are you after the long wheel base? What’s the explanations for the delay?
Ben Hopkins No Ben the middle size the same as you have. Their excuse is it’s because of unprecedented demand. But personally I don’t believe that.
You are not the only one Gary. My Citroen Spacetourer equivalent is due at the end of January and was ordered a few days after yours. Its been a long wait.
peugeottraveller.wordpress.com/2017/11/10/manufacturing-woes-effecting-traveller-production/
A proper review. Thank you
Ben, thank you very much, this Video helps a lot. I still think of buying this car (or the alternative versions from Toyota or Citroën), definately I am Not Willing to pay for a VW T5 to T6. No my question: After several Werks, are you still happy with that car? Andy unexpected things in the meantime? Quality?
Thanks and best, Felix
Yes I am. No problems to report after 6000 miles. Had to top up the Adblue but that’s its, it’s very easy to do this (I made a video on it).
Great review Ben, but I have a question: why Peugeot? Why not the Proace from Toyota or the Citroen Spacetourer?
Cost! The deals were on the Peugeot and nothing else, now (2019) the deals have moved to the Citroen. I am talking about lease only, I dont buy outright.
Hello Ben,
thanks a lot for this great review.
Hello Ben,
it's very nice of you.
Bravo. Beautiful car for a beautiful family.
Thanks Ben this was a really helpful review
Thanks
cheers Ben great review appreciated
5 Kids Wow you are a winner 👑
Interesting, unbiased review!
Great review we have just got one same colour
What model, colour, length did you get?
Sorry for slow response. It's an Allure 180 standard in Nimbus grey. I pick it up tomorrow in fact :)
You have 5 children? Crematorium owner's association says 'thank you'
I have the Citroen version and it’s awesome.
nice review. are all the rear seats removable?
serge5075 Yes. Apart from the drivers and passengers.
Could you slide ski's underneath the seats? Just looking at renting a SpaceTourer for a skiing trip in France for 5 adults. Would appreciate your advice.
Yes you probably could, its all open under there.
See the comments... peugeottraveller.wordpress.com/2017/11/10/manufacturing-woes-effecting-traveller-production/
Great review, great family car
Bloke at dealers where I went in told me they started at 22 grand lol
very good review... one question... would you be able to mount the seats in the opposite direction? (facing the back of the car) or do they just fit on the rails facing forward?
Here's the answer... peugeottraveller.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/seat-configuration-options/
Ben Hopkins cheers
Ivo Orfanelli The Business VIP comes in 6 seat version that are reversible. Optional table too!
How much it cost back then?
Great review, thanks.
Ben Hopkins yes. Lease deal too. Was due to be built in July but a lack of parts. Obviously they close I'm August so should be mid Oct I hope!
Do any other windows roll down other than the first row seats 🤔🤔
No. Unless you have the short version which has some odd looking hatch.
I really liked the look of this one, that was till I saw the price. If you can afford to purchase one well done to you.For me the price made me laugh
I can't afford 40k either, but I can afford £300/month which beats the depreciation if i'd bought outright.
Thanks for posting. Are you still happy with it?
Yep, its been great, had it 2 years, going back next month. Lease prices have gone up so i'm switching to a SpaceTourer.
Why are leather seats important when having children? Haven’t got a clue.
Easy to clean!
what if you get a popped tire ?
Très bonne revue !!!! Parfait !!!!
02:03 left hand with 5 fingers swinging @ the window :-)
What colour is this please?
VW pretend to but still manufacture to a standard of a basic polo or UP then charge you £40-50K
BMW..build a van...you know you want to !!
ARE THE SEATS WIDE?
Currently in the latest RIFTER they r tiny
Yes, plenty wide. Rifter is a small MPV.
Brilliant Peugeot should employ you
Do you still have this Ben? How has ownership been? Any problems, reliability?
Few small problems like the heads-up display fails to come up 1 in every 30 trips but nothing else to report really. It goes back next month (June 2019).
Useful information 👍🏻
Молоток, все по делу!
Thanx Ben for the great review. Please tell me if can you play video on the screen like a movie or live tv from a phone app. Also if there is a way for this version to put the middle row facing back. Thanx !!!
Hi - You can’t do this as it would be monumentally distracting for the driver.
Great review !
Can you change the middle seats to face the back?
Only on the Business VIP.
I noticed superman watching you 😂
If you don't have start stop the phone fits.
Dude, you have 5 kids??? Respect!!! How do you handle that? Do you have 5 wifes also?:)
Just one really good wife :)
