You defending Humanz means you either didn't listen to the album or have never heard any other Gorillaz album. This album was definitely a step down from any other album they made, no matter your political stance or not. Humanz is mediocre at best and for Gorillaz an album should never be mediocre.
Ehh, I think calling him a triggered Trumptard is a bit much. I can see why people would think Damon's new work is bad without being a trumptard. I agree with him to a certain extent, out of the 26 songs on the Humanz album, I gotta say (IN MY OPINION) there were only 6 or 7 real good ones that stood out. The rest were average.
It blows my mind that people are complaining about the new album. Some amazing tracks that embodies the Gorillaz theme. Classic (and amazing) old tracks mixed with new modern advances of the Gorillaz. LOVE it! Also, nothing better than seeing this on the Late Show with Colbert!
Danny Conley I'd probably like the album a lot more if there wasn't such a heavy theme on politics. When I think of politics all I can think about is hatred.
Change is always frowned upon a lot of times. It’s beauty will soon be realized in time. I just hope the gorillaz crew know that there are more of us that appreciate their hard work. Those who storm off online bashing them are just the few lil pricks that are talentless sods instead of understanding art
I know I'm *slightly* late here but The reason People and me dislike it so much is because: it's not a gorillaz album. Sure it's owned by damon and made by him mostly but still it has almost none of The style, flavor, feeling or even singing of The old good albums.
Gorillaz and Colbert together?! Perfect match! So proud to see that Colbert as such a love for Gorillaz by allowing them to do this. In my opinion, best Late Night Show host and keeping it real when it comes to the terrible political climate of both the democrats and the republicans in the US. Thank you for existing Colbert, it's nice to see that even in the darkest times, you're still around to make it lighter. You and Gorillaz both, we sure need it, even here in Canada!
All of the late night circuit lost me because of the Dem Primaries because of what happened with Bernie but If I had to pick one to forgive it's always easily been Colbert. I love the guy and it's hard to stay mad at him.
agreed, then wikileaks outed the whole DNC for being corrupt and with such a great enemy we've forgotten about the corruption among ourselves which lost the election in the first place
Let me out was probably the first song that stood out to me when I listened to the album (not counting the singles that were released). I love the way Mavis sounds on this song. She is so cute in this video! Pusha-T sounds awesome as usual!
It was cool that he didn't take advantage of that whole thing either to get all close and weird to her either (like a lot of them do in performances like that) he backed off and actually fit the mood of the song and played it like a gentlemen, the hug at the end made it seem like they were all good friends like he wasn't trying to bang her after the show or some shit. lot of respect for that xD
Everyone talking about Colbert, but nobody mentioning "It's my mayonnaise attack" FYI the traditional line is "it's my chocolate attack" because the singer is typically a black dude. That was funny as shit.
I love the whole kind of church choir vibe in strobelite it was so catchy and fun and very uplifting and their explanation about it being a song about self discovery is truly beautiful and amazing.
That was a tremendously cathartic finale, Stephen. Thank you for it too. Greetings from the gaping mouth gazing at what is going on over the pond, Lisbon, Portugal.
kali: damon is just so deep wow this song is so well done im really a fan of damon´s work he is such a genius damon: i made this song on my ipad lmao :)
As a fan of Colbert and The Gorillaz, this makes me so happy and it makes me even happier that Colbert is a Gorillaz fan who would use his show to do this with them
Whoever it is that books the late show is a phenomenal person & gorillaz fan. The same thing happened with letterman and plastic beach i love you and recognize you whoever you are
That 2017 version of feel good inc was so surreal it was amazing as a way to like say look we are still around and still doing great, even better. And good job to Stephen Colbert xD
I absolutely love how everyone who hears the bed sheet rustling in the background of She's My Collar thinks it's dirty on purpose (considering this is a sexy song) but in reality it couldn't be more innocent haha.
Holy shit this was great. Thank you. Cant get much better than Mavis and Gorillaz. The live version of She's my Collar was amazing with the visuals by Kali coming out of the darkness with his collar lol. Just wow dammit. Lucky audience.
I'm 12, so I've heard Gorillaz since I was super young, but it's not till now that I realized how awesome Damon Albarn actually is. I secretly (well not secret anymore) wish I could perform with him one day
3:30 - Strobelite
8:41 - She's My Collar
14:48 - Let Me Out
19:08 - Andromeda
24:28 - Feel Good Inc.
Everything Gorillaz thx
Everything Gorillaz you missed Elevator going up lol
Did you hit that little "Read more" button?
bruh i found your soundcloud profile a couple weeks back and all i have to say is thanks
Everything Gorillaz I love ur SoundCloud
Damon Albarn is just genius. Everything he does from Blur to Gorillaz, not to mention his solo work, is just musically brilliant.
James Serapio during the concert there were technical problems with the guitar and he played the piano while everyone waited xD
For the most, at least. Listen to 'We Got The Power' and 'Halfway To The Halfway House'. Sadly, they're bad.
Pessimistic Guy triggered Trumptard
You defending Humanz means you either didn't listen to the album or have never heard any other Gorillaz album. This album was definitely a step down from any other album they made, no matter your political stance or not. Humanz is mediocre at best and for Gorillaz an album should never be mediocre.

Triforce Matter I'm not too sure but it might be the one he did The Fall on.
Band: Gorillaz
Genre: Gorillaz
Damon and Jamie are great.
World Gorillaz Was Made In : Gorillaz
Except for Humanz that is. There The genre is: everyone but gorillaz.
I hope the artists in the Humanz Choir have continued success in their careers for may more years.
My, how I will forever love this band.
Danny Conley I luv it... download the album... and Stephen put his foot in it...!!👍🏽
Danny Conley I'd probably like the album a lot more if there wasn't such a heavy theme on politics. When I think of politics all I can think about is hatred.
Danny Conley bro thank you so much for saying that I agree 100 percent

That She's My Collar performance was really, really good
Dear The Late Show employee that thought of making this,
Thank you
YES
Roku they did a big set when letterman was still hosting for plastic beach. Someone at the late show loves gorillaz & I love whoever it is
this is Jesus
Thank!
Jesus!
Colbert doing backing vocals for Feel Good Inc was genius. Kudos to you, whoever thought of that one.
He pulled it off too!!!
Gorillaz and Colbert together?! Perfect match! So proud to see that Colbert as such a love for Gorillaz by allowing them to do this. i wonder if murdoc is locked in Dressing room again
Probably
Yeah, He is locked in the dressing room.
Would have loved to have seen a cartooned/Gorillaz version of Stephen.
I've never seen anyone rock out so hard with a keytar. Except maybe Randy Jackson.
karatepop Check out Matt Bellamy, the frontman of MUSE :)
Well you sir need to watch Damas Gratis frotman Pablito Lezcano. He kills it with the keytar
"It's my mayonnaise attack" BAHAHAHA
She’s My Collar is one of my personal favorite and now I love it even more after seeing the performance
Let me out was probably the first song that stood out to me when I listened to the album (not counting the singles that were released). I love the way Mavis sounds on this song. She is so cute in this video! Pusha-T sounds awesome as usual!
I can't even begin to express how much I love Gorillaz and Damon! Colbert rapping during Feel Good Inc is my new favorite thing!
WHAAAAT DID NOT EXPECT THIS
First words out of my mouth when I saw the title was "WHAT!? WHAAAAAT!?
omg this is so beautiful and unexpected
EricTheRed I T S M Y M A Y O N A I S E A T T A C K
EricTheRed
Lmao Damon and that iPad man.
The Fall
Take it in your heart now, *love her*.
What a treat! I love this.
***** That's what I thought too, but one of the backup singer said this at 18:46.
Why would anybody thumb this down? This is so nice.
I love gorillaz since that jeep driving simulation back in the day. it's driving a jeep while listening to their tunes. and I just dated myself. d'oh!
Emmanuel Alejandro geep* lol
Emmanuel Alejandro and the game was called gorillaz final drive! It was my shit
Emmanuel Alejandro lool forgot all about that game
Holy effing omg. Colbert is bae. This is my favourite band and favourite late night personality!
Angie R I
the intro bit explains the entire album. the gorrilaz were off fuck knows where and Damon Albarn just released his own album in there absence
Osamatheone but at the same time it sound more like Gorillaz than solo Damon though ;
Osamatheone No gorillaz made Humanz but Damon is performing for them
that shes my collar preformance was hot as fuck wtf
MADISON BABY Ikr! It was bad enough with Damo alone in the beginning, but then KALI CAME OUT & JUST HNNNGGGGGG
MADISON BABY it was the fucking best
MADISON BABY i was just heated but in the best way, they are both so hot
It was cool that he didn't take advantage of that whole thing either to get all close and weird to her either (like a lot of them do in performances like that) he backed off and actually fit the mood of the song and played it like a gentlemen, the hug at the end made it seem like they were all good friends like he wasn't trying to bang her after the show or some shit. lot of respect for that xD
IKR FUCK ME UP
Does this technically make Stephen a member of the Gorillaz now?
Hell yeah it does
SPIKEY123Z Not exactly, but a definite friend yes.
I was holding my cockatiel when I saw your icon
Everyone talking about Colbert, but nobody mentioning "It's my mayonnaise attack"
FYI the traditional line is "it's my chocolate attack" because the singer is typically a black dude.
That was funny as shit.
A powerful, raw performance sending a single message. Love. This is why Gorillaz is one of the best artists in the world.
Man after being chased by Mexican police, a crazy producer, a demon, and EMI Records; Murdoc is finally enjoying freedom.
Dan Esp if only apparently he's being hunted by the kkk now aka thw kool klown klan
Dan Esp now he’s back in jail.. #freemurdoc
Then he "drowned" in crap ;-;
10:40 KALI UCHIS KILLING IT!!!!! PROUD OF HER
Mario Ramírez yeah she's come a long way
She sounded awful..... And im usually not a hater
O'Nikki Adams she had a voice crack but i liked her performance your opinion tho
Damon's voice. I think i'm pregnant.
Sofia Alejandra PFFFFFTt
I love the way they changed up Andromeda a bit here. The chorus is beautiful and the extra drumming towards the end was awesome
THIS DESERVES MORE VIEWS! TBH when I listened this album I thought wasn't so good. Watching it played live completely changed my mind
Liz León I like both versions the live and the studio versions of the album... but infact the live version is better
This is AMAZING
Please don't stop making these performance and behind the scenes interview videos!
I love the whole kind of church choir vibe in strobelite it was so catchy and fun and very uplifting and their explanation about it being a song about self discovery is truly beautiful and amazing.
That bass player deserves a raise he knows how to put on a show!
The Funk is strong with these ones
That was a tremendously cathartic finale, Stephen. Thank you for it too. Greetings from the gaping mouth gazing at what is going on over the pond, Lisbon, Portugal.
the guy who made this happened is a genius!!
You know you’re a true Gorillaz fan when you recognize which music videos and animations each drawing comes from in the chorus of Andromeda.
Cool, this is like a sequel to Gorillaz "Live on Letterman".
except Colbert's audience isn't given sedatives like Letterman's
kali: damon is just so deep wow this song is so well done im really a fan of damon´s work he is such a genius
damon: i made this song on my ipad lmao :)
holy shit colbert doing the rap in feel good inc fucking killed me! haha
quality content right the fuck here
This is fucking amazing and so unexpected from them and colbert. Just makes me love both of them that much more. So cool
I'm happy. I'm feeling glad, I saw Colbert, in the band...
Saying a bad word? I'm just a kid.
This is amazing! We need more of this in times like these music and laughter will help us get through!
so the band is called Gorillaz and the choir Humanz
Alassane Hahn No the new album is called Humanz so they're the Humanz Choir
Fio S Actually if I may clarify, the choir is actually called The Humanz.
very racist and uncool, check yourself
Val Pal How is it? what? no? stop! now!!
elchema lel
I am highly impressed with how Colbert rapped. He did a phenomenal job!
Mavis Staples seems like a joy.
As a fan of Colbert and The Gorillaz, this makes me so happy and it makes me even happier that Colbert is a Gorillaz fan who would use his show to do this with them
This was piece of content I loved, the more like this at this level of quality the better. Thank you so much for going the extra mile !
"It's my mayonnaise attack."
Uncl3 Luk3 a What did I ever do to you?

Let Me Out was done so wonderfully
the live sounds almost exactly like the original
I live Gorillaz so much, the whole concept of the band and how they are creating music
"murdoc and the rest of the gorillaz" LOLL, murdoc's the only important one
damn, son He united the band and he is the leader :v
I'm happy, I'm feeling glad, I saw Colbert, in the band...
Ah it's amazing and I love it how Damon improvises within the really long instrumental breaks in songs.
This Was Great! The bass player is amazing. I wanted to hug my sub woofer. I wonder how Gorillaz will be inducted into the R&R HOF.
I'm legit crying...I'm so happy this collab with Stephen Colbert and the ultimate best ever Gorillaz are together!
Oh my lord Damon's dancing is the best thing I've ever seen in my life.
Whoever it is that books the late show is a phenomenal person & gorillaz fan. The same thing happened with letterman and plastic beach i love you and recognize you whoever you are

Colbert: "It's my mayonnaise attack" lmao
That was awesome how Stephen joined in Feel Good Inc.
Mavis Staples is so humble and precious. We must protect her this year.
"You cannot laugh and be sad at the same time" -Steven Colbert
Now, imagine if Damon got Daft Punk to do a song collab for Gorillaz. My life would be complete
That just made my day when I'm feeling down. Thank you.
She's my collar is so catchy and so good !
I never knew how much I needed this. Thank you.
That 2017 version of feel good inc was so surreal it was amazing as a way to like say look we are still around and still doing great, even better. And good job to Stephen Colbert xD
Oh man I just love "She's My Collar" so much
Why does Damon love The late show so much. Two albums straight they've done big live performances to go along with their appearance on the shows.
That. Was. Fantastic!! Thank you Gorillaz, Humanz and Stephen (nice rap S. And you sounded awesome as usual Damon) What TV can be...
How am I just discovering this now? I watch Colbert every day and check out Gorillaz constantly. Thanks a lot, UA-cam! :p
Mavis Staples is such a badass
I love how Damon Albarn still got some of the lyrics wrong in Feel Good Inc. 😂
DJ Laggins He's not doing it on purpose, it's to prove he's not lipsyncing. He's been doing it since Blur
I really loveee them! Great and amazing performance and Mr. Colbert great as well, thank u so muchh
I love the choir! Mama Mavis is so good, this is great!
I absolutely love how everyone who hears the bed sheet rustling in the background of She's My Collar thinks it's dirty on purpose (considering this is a sexy song) but in reality it couldn't be more innocent haha.
"Let Me Out" I feel is the strongest of the album. I could play that on repeat for days. The album in general is great.
I just love the out of nowhere "they in the bronx zoo"
Holy shit this was great. Thank you. Cant get much better than Mavis and Gorillaz. The live version of She's my Collar was amazing with the visuals by Kali coming out of the darkness with his collar lol. Just wow dammit. Lucky audience.
they are having loads of fun! I love this
I love this band so much. I'm beaming
This video is golden, I love it so much. But..
MAYONNAISE ATTACK IM WHEEZING
I'm 12, so I've heard Gorillaz since I was super young, but it's not till now that I realized how awesome Damon Albarn actually is. I secretly (well not secret anymore) wish I could perform with him one day
12:33
*suddenly looks around because I happen to be in a car driving by places I pass all the time*
THANK YOU COLBERT AND ALBARN!
