The Love and Mercy biopic is wonderful. It's on TV fairly regularly and is definitely worth watching even if you're not even a BB/Brian fan. My GLW falls into that category and she loved it too.
Thank you for putting so many details in the doodly-doo! 'Wellness Moods' instead of 'Healing' perhaps. Autotune & 'brick' everything is the zeitgeist.
This podcast and the turf - heaven! Thoroughbred Database website shows seven horses with the name of Lovely Rita - bred in America, Argentina, New Zealand, South Africa and Britain. The sire of one of the Lovely Ritas is called Topsider. Dams include Lola and Strawberry Fields. Personal favourite racehorse with a musical name - Tangerine Trees (by Mind Games out of Easy to Imagine).
Because of analogue paraphenalia (turntables, speakers, cables, etc.) I duscarded all my albums twenty years ago, but my children's book collection is sacrosanct !
Our vinyl collections are the last tangible link to our ever receding youth, perhaps the only inanimate thing that is truly ours and which only we truly own. Nobody else. With another owner the link would be broken. It's part of our identity, our belonging and history. The shadow behind us.
My memory was triggered by Dave's mention of The Room, by a Brazillian musician. Apropos of nothing, the same title belongs to a cult film, supposedly the worst of all time, however, my recollection was of my 16 year old self borrowing The Room by Hubert Selby Jnr from the local library. If you're familiar with the book, you'll understand the complete detonation of a young mind.
Love and Mercy is a brilliant film. One of the best biopics I have ever seen

Yes, also the fact Taylor Swift has re-recorded albums so making even more world-wide best sellers, such is her massive sway. She sells!

I honestly wish I could UN-watch the Bowie biopic...
