What's up brother I'm here in central Florida and going to start my P/W business at the first of the year with my income tax and a little savings , great video and very helpful keep killin it
Nice job on the video! Beautiful family, Just started my business also in South Florida. Having some delays due to equipment builds but hope to get after it very soon. Enjoyed the video! One thing about this industry is that everyone is very helpful, even to competitors. Good culture!!
I’m just getting into doing my own down steaming soft washing. I did my first job in Oct ‘23 for 250$ and I had a 5.5 gpm set on a trailer with a buffer tank. It was alittle low price wise but it was for my neighbors and I was happy to do it. I already have a few jobs lined up this year and my second bid I did I’m still waiting to hear back from for a 37000sqft building so I may need to upgrade fast. It does help that I own a painting company that is always in front of potential customers! Thanks for the video I like those quick connections for switching things for a rinse!
Great vid Rusty, I think its the only one I need to watch!! 👍I'm currently designing a trailor to start a business in Ontario Canada north of Toronto. As a previous BG Products Acct Mgr I get the chem side, and thanks to your insight I'm now rethinking a few things, and pricing is one of them!?! lmao I'll be sure to check out your other vids though, your honesty, confidence and professionalism are inspiring to watch! 🤙😎
Launching Summer 2022. Panama City Beach, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, FL area. Going back and forth between trailer or extended flatbed build. This video helped a lot. Thanks
Watching your video for the first time,, lots of 411 👍,,, thinking about do something else,,been a welder fabricator most of my life killing my eyes and lungs,, would like to do some pressure washer on the side to start out and learn a new line of work,,, any 411 would help and appreciated,, love your trailer set up and my 2 German shepherds are awesome 👍,, thanks for sharing..
I appreciate you making this video. Looking into possibly starting a biz in pressure washing, you did a great job with the info you provided thanks again man, wish you very well
Excellent Stuff Rusty! I think I have watched pretty much all of your videos. You have the gift of a teacher and man I sure do appreciate it! I started my business about a year ago and I am in transition from a simple Simpson 4GPM system where I am using a garden hose and connecting to the home, to a more efficient and effective setup. However, the buffer tank, soap tank, SH tank, and subsequent plumbing are pretty confusing, especially because there seem to be so many various ways to configure these setups. So, any instructional videos on the plumbing setup would be much appreciated. Also, would like to know where you have purchased your various equipment. Thanks so much!
Hi rusty I was just watching your video it’s interesting. I’m also thinking just like what you was thinking in the beginning. I really want to try the pressure washer business.
Dude! You have one of the most informative videos I've seen, and I've seen a BUNCH of them! I like how you have similar stuff to me, but did something that I would do/want. Like the PVC to rinse your hands or whatever. I use a container with water and pour it on🤷🏿♂️. I like too how you set up the way you rinse your chem line out and how it's set up with the banjos. I'm subscribing bro 💪🏿!
Rusty, you're solid, bro. I'm launching my business in a week and working on my trailer currently. I think I've watched every video on UA-cam trying to figure this stuff out and you're style is on point, bud. I'm still trying to figure out all of the fittings, but you've given me a ton of ideas. From a newbie in Texas - thanks, brutha!
Love everything you went over I’m trying to start working on my own business a lot of work in my location just getting started is key everything helps what are thing or stories of what not to do or accidents and how you fix what can happen during a job
@ 9:40 min I am there right now I need to get out of my comfort zone and start making extra money or go on full business mode drop my current job. Thanks for the video
Excellent video. Great trailer set up. I am currently running a 8 GPM wash as you set up with a Shertz Remote Control for down streaming. I have a 1 HP Gould's Booster pump and Proportioner for roof cleaning and house washing (I have a 1/2" diaphragm pump as a back up to my booster) Then I have a 2 HP Gould's Booster 10 GPM for rinsing.
@@rusty.nesvig I look for redundancy. I running 5/8 kuritec for my booster and diaphragm, so if I add a 7GPM 12 volt it would be for emergency situations. Always stressing about being down. Booster is a game changer for getting chems down for sure. I started with 12V in the beginning but was running 1/2" lines for it.
Excellent and very well detailed video. My business is expanding and I’ve been trying to decide on my next build between an enclosed or just a utility. I also have a RAM and decided to stick to a 6x12 utility trailer considering the shortage on parts so everything is pricey. You answered a lot of my questions and the setup looks great! Keep up the good work!
Love your trailer build, I have been in the business for three years and building my second trailer to be more efficient and able to operated by one person. I'm in NC and appreciate your help, I am offering hydrogen peroxide alternative to bleach cleaning.
Thanks for the vid. I’m 6 months in and agree with your 3 tips. I’m at a point where I need to put a buffer tank on my 4 and 5.5 gpm machines (mainly so I can let off the trigger longer) and also want to add a manifold so I don’t have to batch. Any videos on building and installing these on a budget?
Nice video boss👊🏼 I think a good idea for another video is to go through what each piece of equipment does and why you have it. Us newbies don’t know what a buffer tank is
Great videos like the content and been coming back to your set up for a reference. Building a enclosed trailer power/soft wash system would love some input if possible.
Hey Rusty, I'm a 58 yrs old retired home body at the moment, thinking hard on buying a soft wash / pressure wash trailer set up, its just me going to do it, I'm on the Saint John's river in central Florida, just wondering how to get started after I have all my equipment, also pricing. we're about 40 mins from Daytona, and the same from Ocala. any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Boss, I recently lost my job as my dump truck broke down and had to sell it. Now I’m looking to build a trailer for pressure washing and I’m trying to do it myself since getting quotes from places are too expensive I have about 6000 to spend. Where did you get the chemical mixer from?
Hey Rusty. I saw your how you for your trailer rganized and i love it. I recently bought my. First power washer did my house and decided to do more. I’ve seen several videos and decided to go ahead and start my own Co. I don’t have a trailer yet, but I’m interested in making this a success. I truly need professional advise and was hoping to have you as an mentor. What do you think? From a So. Cali. intrapreneur to a So. Fl.professional.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Great content. I think I already saw all your videos. I am thinking of starting this business. Hopefully middle next year i start to build a trailer set up. Do you coach? ( I might have a question or two when building the trailer ).
How do you price a job out? Square foot? difficulty? Im honestly looking into equipment to start my own pressure washing. I was thinking of starting off with mostly driveways, patios, etc.
Hey man I'm in south west FL myself would love to get some hands on training if you wouldn't mind one of these day I'm looking to start my own pressure washing company and I don't want to fail.
Hey bro great vid, thanks a million for the info 🙏🏼 was just wondering, I’m coming from communist Canada to look for a new life in Florida near Tampa and wanted to know firstly if this is a business that could bring you a couple Hundred bucks a day just doing driveways without marketing? It looks like this is something I’d enjoy doing to take care of my family of 5… And secondly what types of negatives of the job and possible dangers of going door to door as I’m not sure how Floridians take solicitors. Lastly, can you recommend a good company that could help me put something like this all together, do you do mentoring???
Hi I'm in UK but want to know how I can source bleach resistant clothing to print up some company logo tshirt s and sweaters, what makes the clothing bleach resistant and how good is it at staying new looking when working with sh daily. Thanks
It is very confusing in the beginning but it is very simple and easy once you get your hands on it. I had my first trailer plumbed and learned from their work
Good info! How do you pay your brother if you don't mind me asking? I'm still working full time starting my business but my dad is willing to help out on jobs I book.
Thank you guys for the love 🤙🏽 y’all are awesome.

Great video…but what I liked the most, you kept it real!!!

Love how you can always learn something different from people.👍
For anyone looking for the best in the game, Southeast Softwash’s pressure washing and softwashing trailers are the way to go. Simply the best.
Just way too expensive. Been following the southeast journey since their inception. They have jacked the prices sp for up from just a couple years ago
love your perception on starting your business. I too am also scared of failure, but I don't want that to stop me from trying. Great Tips!
Don't be scared of failure cause failing is great when you learn from it. Failing is only bad when you quit.
never in life tell yourself your scared to do anything
Love your trailer build
Best video I've seen so far on the setup
Thanks man!

You should check out the Xjet M5DS twist nozzle. It covers a whole side of a house in one pass, no xjet required. That’s my favorite for soft washing.
Never heard banjo connect,we call em camlocks, nice setup
