    I am not vegan, but I have 15~ ish years of cooking under my belt, both professionally and at home. I have a few vegetarian/vegan family members, whom I do cook for from time to time. This is something I am certainly going to experiment with. It would allow me to make quite a few stir frys for them that I wouldn't have been able to before.
    It is an extremely laborious process for such a small yield, but will be worth the novelty at least once. Thanks for the video!

    I have so much wheat gluten at home. I'll definitely try it this week.

      Right on! You could do this with wheat gluten. In my opinion, it will taste different than seitan from bread flour dough. Let me know how it goes!

    Hi, I’m wondering how much better than bouillon to use, as I use that for veggie broth as well. I can make it per the jar’s instructions and then measure out 350g, but is there a weight of just the bouillon I can measure and then add water to 350g total?

    Do you save the starch? Hermann steamed them into noodles.

      I saw his recipe post! I did not steam mine into noodles. I poured it on some of the plants in my backyard. I’ve seen another person make vegan bacon with it!!
