Literally played WT yesterday for the first time in years and I got 2 kills and 2 assists in a game and I was vibrating in my chair with excitement.
He was talking about the team total. He had 0 kills when he said that
@Dr. Bright this is the shit that pisses me off dude. I’m sure you could’ve been so much better if War Thunder was nicer to newer players. I’ve been playing for awhile now, I’m no Demi God, but I gotta say, War Thunder is so hard for new comers to get into because it’s rape. And let’s say they do somehow stick to it, it’s rape at top tier too. And don’t feel bad, PhlyDaily has been on WT for 8 years. I watch him in awe too all the time. I remember the only tank he played that I performed similar to his skill was the T25 (mini Pershing). I am currently getting a buddy of mine into it and trying my best to carry him because it’s almost mandatory to have a friend with some experience to start getting into WT. Took me 8 months to get my first top tier tank, and 9 to get my first jet at 7.0
Back in the day, I got 12 kills in the m24 after my whole team died then 9 in a Sherman :( lost the match

I was actually just about to type in search 'PhlyDaily M50', and the video was like 2 years ago I believe, but then I saw this video in recommendation. 9 minutes ago even. So why not just watch lol.
but Phly the game does tell you when you're on map radar. When you see the faint red circles around the enemy spawn zones like at 20:28 you know you're on map radar.
It would be good if you got a warning you're entering the getting seen zone right before you enter it, because it doesnt make sense between maps at what distance it happens. It's not like it's always 1 square away from the flag, sometimes it's 2 1/2.

I remember seeing a picture of an Ontos in an old issue of my college’s yearbook from the late 50’s early 60’s. They were showing the vehicle with a group of ROTC marines.
20:27 It does tell you when you're on radar. If you look at the mini map it shows that there's a red circle around the enemy "flag". If that circle is around the "flag" it means you show up on the enemy minimap.
I've driven the M50 Ontos a lot. It's absolutely one of those vehicles that can threaten pretty much anyone, especially in a busy urban environment. It's even smaller and stealthier than it looks too.

20:30 it does tell you, kind of. whenever the old spawn protection circles are visible on your map (they just have to be there you dont have to be in them) you are displayed on the enemies map

Hi Phly I really think you should make a video on the LS 3 (German reserve boat). It has amazingly firepower and as it is so small is really hard to kill when combined with its speed and manuverability

hey phly quick tip there is 6 ranging 50.cals on that thing you can use for long range targeting but you gotta map the guns to a button because they don´t count as machine guns also you can tell you are on their radar (too close to spawn) by the red circles around their spawn popping up, if you see those circles you are on their map you don´t have to be in the circles just see them
At 20:28 Plhy said "I wish it would tell you when you are on radar"
Well i'm not 100% sure but i think when the red zone appears on the map is when you get spotted

Phly you should have tried out this boy with HESH. Unless volumetric changed things, the HESH deletes things super hard in the 106mm recoilless rifle - I've killed an IS-7 thorough the front plate with it.
