This is not the Gordon Langford arrangement, it's straight from the orchestral score, transposed to the key of concert F (originally in G). Recitative follows the English translation.

Nice to see you back. I really enjoyed this. I hope to play like this some day. I’m 58f and only took up cornet this year. I am a flute player and wanted to try something different. Well actually I watched Brassed Off and ….. lol

Just keep practicing. It used to be said that it only took two years to become proficient in a brass instrument if you practiced every day.
