I have those same metal panels in my garage. I can tell you after 10 years and a few seasons where I had some condensation issues in the garage, those boards still look brand new. They hold up very well. It’s fun to play with the setup and see it evolve as you work with it. I even find myself moving the bins around depending on what I’m working on so certain parts are within a closer reach.

Man a 1200 square foot shop, roughly 30x40, is my dream so that I can store and work on all my projects. I always joke with my wife that if it wasn’t for her and the kids, I would live on a plot in the country with a one bedroom shack with a huge shop out back.

Can I suggest a safety catch here. Get a small diameter rubber hose, split it open lengthwise and place it on the edge if that metal wall covering where you have that recessed receptacle. You could touch it to the plug prongs while inserting or removing it and short out as well as possibly shock yourself or someone that is touching the exposed metal.

Do you ever customize your models to make them more detailed/accurate? Swapping to different diameters of aluminum rod would be a super easy improvement on the exhaust, upgrading the ignition wires, and flocking the carpet can really transform a model. I understand not modding the pricier models like autoart and BBR but the cheaper maisto/burrago models are basically begging for it.

Commented on this before I got to the engine bay segment off the review. Yeah, that’d chrome mismatched engine (RB26 swap rather than the period correct L24) needs to go. A company called Hotwheels works makes resin 1:18(or any scale) engine/body components that are hyper realistic. I would recommend diving into this model as a guinea pig to dip your toe into the modifying side of collecting(since that engine is a god awful eyesore and you couldn’t possibly mess it up worse than leaving it stock) lol
