Hi Amaryllis Man & God Bless You also. Love watching your videos from Sydney, Australia. I had just taken the hundreds of seeds from my Amaryllis & after watching your professional instructional videos, am keen to sprout them in water. I don't think I can go wrong after watching your technique..and many of your other Amaryllis videos. Wishing you great health & happiness throughout the upcoming New Year. Thank you again.
@@AmaryllisMan..Hi again Amaryllis Man Charlie, After following your method for seed sprouting in water, my seeds are starting to sprout. I'll soon be busy transplanting as I have about 60 seeds sprouting!! Thanks again for your informative video's & tips.
I am so pleased that your content appeared. I have grown my Amaryllis for a number of years now. I had a few hiccups the last few though and lost a large portion of my collection. Unfortunately, they were the largest ones that died, so the dozen or so are quite small compared to their mother bulbs. But another year has gone by and things are looking much better thus far. Now to my question, I am wondering what the timeframe is from germination to bulb? I would believe that it may take a significant amount of time. Thank you in advance and thank you so much for your blessings. On a side note, I am trying my best to be the best Christian I can be. As I am sure you are aware of how difficult it can be at times.
Thank you for the video. Just ordered and received some of your seeds. I live in a zone 10 dry climate. What do I do if the water the seeds are floating in starts to evaporate? Can I add more water? Even with a cover, I have noticed I get some evaporation.
Who knew!? Thanks for this tip and greetings from Denmark.

The peroxide solution works so well! Even helps plants that need a lil help rooting in a cup of water. ☕🤠👍🌱🌺💖

Depending on the variety 3-4 years. (At the Return it will all be worth it.)
Dear Mr Johnston, I have a question:-
The cup of water component is that a standard 250ml, please?

Yes, add more water.
Hello , How long does it take to go from seed to flower, thanks.
About 3-4 years depending upon the variety.
