I watched the cover of Hendrix/Mitchell "Hey Joe" Twice today.. and will watch again. I was laughing and applauding and shouting "Ohhhh!" so much. The comments are off on that video... I "liked" it.. and am sharing it. But I just had to tell the people who run this channel that HEY JOE was ASTONISHING.

A really cool choice of songs Sina, and even more interestingly appropriate since it comes from Metallica's album of cover songs 'Garage Inc.' (1998) with selections from Thin Lizzy, Bob Seger, Lynyrd Skynyrd and other greats. I love the heavy drums and the story-telling of this song, even though I had to search for the meaning of "Whack for my Daddy-o" which turns out to have been a playful Irish way of offering "A drink for my man" Lol, thank you for this great performance!
I love this cover! This song led me to discover the Almighty Thin Lizzy & Phil Lynott who, along with Cliff Burton are the reasons I first picked up a bass guitar over 20 years ago.
Die Version von Thin Lizzy ist mir ehrlich gesagt etwas sympathischer, weil dort der Gesang nicht so aggressiv klingt, und ich den 80'ern einmal bei einem tollen Konzert von Thin Lizzy war. Nichts desto trotz, ich kann nachvollziehen, dass du diese härtere Version gewählt hast, weil wohl der Schlagzeugpart interessanter für dich als Metall-Expertin ist. Nachdem ich mir diese Version mehrmals angehört habe, bin ich inzwischen doch begeistert, weil deine EXCELLENTEN DRUMS hier im Vordergrund stehen. Vielen Dank Sina !

Great choice of song, Sina and perfectly done! Still prefer Thin Lizzy's version (didn't know this one) but this is very close and with your drumming Lizzy's version has to struggle :)!

Watching you is always interesting, Sina! I'm not specifically remembering this song, but it is great rock and roll. As I've always said, you are my favorite drummer because you put your whole passionate being into the song, as forcefully as anyone, no matter how big. And your hair is like icing on the cake🥮 and the little smile (that you used to not do so much) something extra🎉
