I have a question: Im my latest arm wrestling tournament, I got my opponents at the start and took their wrist, but when I was half way down to the pad, the bendt in their wrist and pulled me over agian. Is it my side pressure that is failing? What do you think I have to work on?
Sounds like you need to hit harder, probably both side presssure and back pressure. Even more pronation perhaps. Try building momentum by starting on your toes and elbow front of the pad under your hand, and fall down on your heels as you pull your elbow to your body on the go, and just throw your hand towards the pin pad. If you cant pin first hit regrip quick and open his hand/ fingers

What is there about "arm wrestling" when the "arm wrestler" is pulling the opponent with his full body under the table? Also how does this have anything to do with "arm wrestling" when the wrestlers hand was literally straight and only his body doing the work.

Being a former top world class in superheavy weight explains that. He's at least 60 lbs heavier than the 2nd heaviest guy and outweight everyone else much more, even in his bad shape, he still could win this kind of tournament (those competing super heavy pullers are not top ones in their division, the light-weight, middle-weight pullers are top in their division but the weight difference is just massive, can't overcome that).
