Really enjoyed this and looked a great little adventure. Paul did have the ‘slept outdoors’ look about him in the morning 😆. I picked up a hooped bivi in a sale recently but yet to sleep in it, hoping to get away for a night before it gets too cold.
Hi, thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it. The bit where he goes from the ‘I hope I get a good nights sleep’ or similar to ‘morning’ is soooo funny 😂😂 And hope you enjoy your bivvy, paul says it’s certainly an experience. Thanks again, Sarah
Another great video, Paul. Really liked the way you described it as “not a slog.” So many channels seem to feature 16:20 macho feats of endurance and how many miles they do in one day. The slice of cake image summed up your very different approach. 🍰👍
@@johnbayley1109 thanks for watching. Yes we find there is too much emphasis on faster / harder / endurance and there seems to be less documenting of the joy of cycling. Always need cake!
Great little video. Thanks for sharing. One daft question; there didn’t seem to be too much traffic on the roads, was that careful editing or was it generally quiet? Cheddar is on my radar for a camper van visit, eventually I want to ride out to there but from Cheltenham it seems a bit too far for me at the moment.
@@steveread1798 thanks for watching. It was quiet for sure and we followed Sustrans routes (apart from cheddar gorge which was the busiest bit). Sarah did edit some cars out but it just wasn’t a super busy weekend which is often luck!

Green bicycle is that Spa Cycles at begining of the video?
@@markpickford4756 my bike? It’s a George Longstaff
Who’s your mate and what is he riding? Looks like a mid to late 80s MTB?
