Republic Services Strike Atlanta South '18

On August 10, 2018, one hundred and twenty solid waste drivers, helpers, dispatchers, and mechanics, members of Teamsters Local 728, walked off the job at Republic Services in Atlanta.
Trash collection at corporate offices, public institutions, and residential neighborhoods was shut down across the city.
Within 15 hours Republic Services had agreed to return to the bargaining table with the workers negotiating committee Teamsters Local 728.
By the next week, the workers had unanimously voted to approve a historic new union contract.

Chuck Stiles is a good man. Proud to say that I had the opportunity to meet him while organizing DeKalb Sanitation. Sadly, the employees let Teamsters go, a huge mistake in my opinion. I stood with my brothers in McDonough on their picket line about six or seven yrs ago. Proud to see you guys and ladies getting what you deserve through solidarity. Teamsters always!

How is it working for republic services? Im a front load driver who learned from watching your videos a year ago I'm from CT and am about to move to south Carolina and wanna know about republic services. Also is it hard to get in there ?
