The sweaters you two picked look awesome. I'll also be stalking the comments to see what other people are knitting and see if I need to add them to my queue. This episode was sooooo you two, I feel like I just knew Kat would put the bag on her head, but I laughed anyway!!! Thanks for sharing that photo of you two with a friend. I have a real soft spot for when you share a little piece of yourselves beyond knitting. I'm sooooo into the idea of a mitt-a-long. I've never knit a pair. I'm sure once I start though they could be addicting as they would make great Christmas gifts for friends and family. I hope you share if you actually make the shorts. I feel like I'm not careful enough for knit bottoms. I sit without thinking. I use my hips and butt to close things around the house. And I'm always knocking into something, my beautiful yarn would be ruined. But I can't lie I'm intrigued. Outtakes as always are a fav of mine...those "jazz hands" 🤣🤣🤣!!!!
Thank you for echoing what I was thinking last week when I was going through my sweaters. I have things in my wardrobe that I NEED yet never knit, and things I knitted that I never wear. I like to wear calm neutrals yet gravitate toward knitting crazy colors...So this year I'm doing the same thing-making a list not of what I "want" to knit or what everyone else is making, but things I know would be very loved and much worn. I have a thing right now for cardigans, so I'm finishing up two--CrissCross and Farmhouse Cardigan, in dark and light grey. I also have a new penchant for raglan sleeved, simple, fold collar, at waist pullovers (ala 1950's) and am planning on several, including Stockholm and No Frills by Petit Knits in Honer och Eir's Nutiden yarn (Copper and Pheasant), and also her Copenhagen, in a neutral taupe color...and a Dog Walker or Keene (or both) in grey and taupe of course, LOL. Also Fiacaill Cardigan and Whippet, also in greys, because they're thinner, and I need thin (fingering/sport) cardigans. I also really want to knit Ausable, because I would wear that all the time, and two big squishy shawls (after I finish the current one) both in Nutiden, because I'm obsessed with the stuff. That should keep me busy, and yeah that's a lot more than five! :D
I would definitely cast on a new sock project!
Just earlier today I was thinking about how I needed to make the Underwing fingerless gloves. That’s on my to be made ASAP list
Nicole Cox it’s an awesome pattern can’t wait to make it too!!
