Chili Flower Crab 🦀 Recipe

INGREDIENTS
1 kg or 4 medium-sized flower crab,cut and cleaned
1/4 cup Oil
1/4 cup Tomato Ketchup
1/2 cup Chilli Sauce
2 tsp soy bean paste
500ml Water or Stock
dash of rice wine (optional)
1 tsp Salt, or to taste
1 tsp Sugar, or to taste
Cornstarch Slurry: 1 tbsp cornstarch + 3tbsp
1 egg, beaten
Chilli Paste (blended)
7 long red chilli
1 head garlic
1 thumb sized ginger
1/4 cup Water, or just enough to blend
Garnish
Spring onion
Coriander
Red long chilli
Served with toasted bread or fried Mantou
