I ordered some of your flies last week. I’m going to use them on the Provo river next week in Utah. They look fantastic. Especially the stoneflies. Loving the content man keep up the great work.
DDO, DSP and DEO. BTW where were you seeing the river loaded with algae/moss? Heading up this week and don't want to waste time fishing those areas.@@DownstreamDownrange
VERYYYY addictive fishery! Was hoping for a big old brownie maybe next time! Good luck bow hunting this year if I don’t catch up with you between now and opening day!
Right off I liked the soothing music that adds serenity and tranquility to the beginning of this one. Can’t get over how big the black dot was on that big wild brown. Awesome. And you did yet another amazing job untangling the line around your reel while having a big fish on. Great calm/cool recovery! And like last year, you got the big bow to the net. Hard to be successful on such a tough situation. Nice work! Again, your drone adds so much to your videos and the quality you have in all aspects is very good. Good idea crossing while that big bow went crazy, yeah, you’ll mess up that riffle/run but at least you’ll have a better chance. Another great video and look forward to your next!! Tightlines!
Last time I was there at the West Branch we were caught a really nice stripped bass. If you ever see trout jumping out of the river randomly it's the strippers chasing them. It's over 300 miles to the mouth of the Delaware.
Wow 4x late season on the Delaware! Conventional wisdom says 6x at this point in the season... can't help but wonder if I'm going too light and losing fishing as a result
I would think so, I’ve fished 6X on the del for years. But lately I’ve made a switch. Anything above 15-16 becomes a real hard fight in that particular river on 6X
So addictive fooling delaware trout. Im going up on Saturday and next week Fri and Sat. Cant wait to see this at home. Hope you were able to resolve the situation you were in a few months ago.
@@DownstreamDownrange the dry fly fishing this year has been so spotty, at least for me. The upper West branch sulphur hatch used to pop off on the dot at 12:30pm last few years. This year it has been so sporadic. My favorite pool now has 2 waders and a boat every time I stop by so I don’t even go to that pool anymore.
I live here in rockland and was wondering where to fish on the delaware without having to drive too far...don't wanna take your spot or anything just need a tip😂
I fish mostly between the towns of hancock and deposit! You can see the signs for pull offs along the road! That wholeeeeeeee river has dozens of trout in almost every riffle! Any place you find space from other anglers you should be good to go!

@@ryanthecox1 cool deal! Let the smaller OC swing a lot too! I’ve done well with the 16’s just casting across and letting swing ! Good luck!!!!!
When will the out of stock flies be available?
@@michaelcapurso which ones in particular? I can double check my supplies and see if I can get an order ready for you!

Your intro was absolutely beautiful- the rest of the video was good to ! Hope to see you up there one of these days. I try to go up once a week.
Appreciate that! Yah I’m sure at some point!
Nice fish, well done! Next time you purchase a new reel get a full cage reel, no issues with line slipping between the spool and frame..
Some day I’ll have the $ for that! That orvis reel only done that to me this one time. But yes, I’ll upgrade when I can! Thanks for watching my friend

I might suggest a larger net if you are targeting a 24in fish. Love the chase!
Yes I have another net I’m going to switch too moving forward! Good suggestion!

@@beo77 dang! Yah I thought the same thing. I think maybe better luck blind casting big iso dun
For the WB D, half my dry flies are spinners.
@@beo77 yep! Good deal!
I use a good ole Phlueger reel that has two closed sides. Never had a problem like you had with line .
Hmmm do you use mono or fly line
