  • Pastor Kind explains why the Divine Service causes the whole person to be involved in worship through kneeling, sitting, standing, genuflecting and more. Additionally, we learn how our posture can help us reflect on what we believe and confess it to those around us.

Pastor Kind, thank you so much for this series of videos. As a liturgicaly minded seminary student in the Lutheran church of Norway they are very helpful!
    God bless you!

I would be much more comfortable bowing for "Et incarnatus est" if it were at all linguistically possible to distinguish between bowing in awe of the mystery of what God has done in the incarnation and bowing to honor the God-bearer Mary. The excesses of our Roman and Eastern brethren have complicated this practice . Soli Deo gloria.

Only those who come from the "state" Lutheran churches, which are also on their way back to Rome
