We wanted to create a fresh dirt pile around a hole in front of a tombstone decoration. This prop looks perfect for a grave robber or grave digger scene. It's a must-have for any creepy cemetery or graveyard themed haunt. We have made a animated breathing grave, a haunted bell tombstone, moving tombstones, monuments, obelisks, gravestone poppers, mausoleums, crypt walls, pet cemetery, entrance gates, crosses, and coffins but not any fresh dug graves One great idea for this realistic tombstone prop is we created a removable epitaph that can be flipped over or removed to change the look. This DIY Halloween decoration would also be perfect for a graveyard skeleton of zombie or ground breaker from Thriller popping out from beneath the soil. The tombstone decor is made from 3/4" plywood and sculpted foam. The dirt mounds are carved and hard coated foam, then spray textured after being attached to a plywood base. The Halloween tombstone is modular and can be detached from the freshly dug grave base plate and used by itself if you wanted to change it up each year. This heavy duty wind proof tombstone also comes with an epitaph insert that can be duplicated customized and flipped around for multiple names and messages.

The dirt sculpt was good but the fog pushed it over the top! The removable/reversible epitaph is such a good idea!
Ohh, I love it! Looks awesome !
Haha, love the ending too !!
🧡🧡🎃🎃🧡🧡
This is soooo clever!!! The mounds really matched the soil at the location the colors were spot on Jeana!!!
The quality of your work keeps improving. I would love to hear more about the three layers of hard coating.
I tried to post earlier, but I don’t think it posted. This project was great! Execution was awesome. Perfect idea.
You guys are incredible. So creative and talented. 💖🎃👻
Hi Guys from your Oklahoma Fan. Sadly, I'm going to have to dismantle and burn my old Western Town Panels.
Love seeing you're build videos again. Please keep them up. You're what inspired me!
And, OH Harrison, you scared me coming out of that prop! ❤
Oh no that's lame, that's a bummer to hear. Thanks for writing us.
Another video already? Is it my birthday? 😂 So much happiness!!! Fantastic idea! You guys are amazing!!!🧡🖤🧡

Thanks for watching!
Where's The Skeleton Guy ? Love you Sis !😊
Hi. This is really good.
I see Drylok gets used a lot in America but it isn't so readily available over here in the UK. A regular tin/can costs £142.00/$186.50!!!!
Crazy price over here.
Another reason why halloween haunters in the UK hates the minuscule availability of so many things that you have so close at hand.
Best wishes 👍
Do you have driveway sealer? I've seen haunters try that but never tried it ourselves.
I'm in the UK. I use textured paint with acrylic colour mixed in

Hello and many thanks for your helpful reply.
Best wishes from Leicester 👍
I really enjoy seeing y'all's update on stuff. All of y'all's graveyard props are so well thought out and "executed." The simulated dirt pile looks good in daylight and I am sure when it is mood lit at night it is a "dead ringer..." (Sorry could resist the dad jokes!) Oh ya! and The Scare Actor! LOL What is scary is how fast he is growing up. He is so lucky to have y'all. Did y'all ever decide to move? Looking forward to seeing what is next. Thanks for sharing!
The freshly dug grave was a great idea to hide that hole!
The result is so cool! And the insert was genius!
It looked so good! We'll definitely have to do more of those in the future.
imagine if you could do an actual (safely secure) grave and fill it with paintened packing peanuts and bits of dirt hear and there....and have an actor in the costume "come up out of the ground"
YES! So excited to watch this.
Great!!!
Enjoyed it all, of course, but those last two or three seconds are just fantastic 💀
That's actually footage from many many years ago. Thought it was a fun throwback and fit this video well 😄
Very cool
Thanks!
Great! Love it! Even more to get built this year! Do you have a quick link to the kicking legs by chance too?
Nice
Thanks!
Love your video. but we would like to see some proof of life. Would like to see the family. We miss you guys. LOL😂❤
Lol!! Shedding those holiday pounds first 😉
Can’t wait to watch this later❤
Love it! That is a versatile prop like you said with a zombie hand and a fog machine... So I wondered about what you were saying about the way fresh dug dirt looks and the effect you made, could you have made a mold of the dirt, then cast it in foam, then paint it? I'm not experienced in this area, but curious if you thought it might work.
I'm sure that would work well. It would just just have the extra cost for silicone or whatever. Be fun to try a sample and see results.
@@HollywoodHaunter Silicone might be pricey to use, but that might give the best results. You could possibly make a few smaller molds to get you enough variety that when assembled and blended in you can't tell... But right, a small 1' test might be enough proof of concept... Maybe a topic for another video??
How do you make those monuments like that I would love to learn and do you have any tutorials on them
Turned out great! Do you apply drylock before or after your mortar mix spray?
Thanks, we apply drylock after the spray texture to help seal it.
Ok, thanks for the tip!@@HollywoodHaunter
have you guys ever made a "raveyard?"
