@Kirby Kore Not my experience honestly. Sure women like in all music get singled out. That's the same for rap, EDM or metal. But I don't feel these days female fronted metal bands are treated as a monolith at all. Metal also won't be mainstream, it can't be mainstream. It's far to much at odds with the general purpose of music in mainstream western society. Proper metal that is, hardrock isn't metal. Doesn't mean it can't be less niche. But I've yet to meet a true metalhead who can't classify your bands in different genres. I feel like you're describing two decades ago, not today. There tons of female singers out there, enough you get generic bands banking of pretty girls to attract an audience. But there's so much metal out there you never ever have to listen to them.
She just became my addiction. Best rock show I ever saw in my life. I dont understand why no one is talking about this amazing artist, entertainer and that voice.... untouchable . A must see !
Been a fan since 2012 and finally saw them at Carolina rebellion. It's a toss up between them and Godsmack for being the best show there. Muse was cool, but the gimmicks and lights don't make up for pure soul and art.

I love Maria Brink!! I was in a car accident in December of 2017 and while I was in the hospital and rehab learning how to live paralyzed my girlfriend at the time left me. Around that same time I discovered "Roots". That song helped me use my anger and pain to push myself harder in physical therapy. I was told that no-one leaves rehab ready to live alone at their own home. I was the first person that they signed of on to go home and be and to live alone! I love In this moment, and thank you Maria! I've been in the hospital and now a nursing home since January 4th of this year. There are moment that I feel like the walks are closing in, that they are making themselves padded and I feel like I wear an invisible straight jacket. Once again I'm dealing with huge life change alone. So Once again, I lean on 🎶 music to get me through. If nothing else it helps me make it through one day at a time. And not give up. Sorry I turned this into a therapy session. Just needed to vent.

Actually, a lot of bands do this! It's kind of like a band signature. I remember someone in the comments said that bands usually do this to keep it in their own style and to have their songs connected in a way. Which is really cool!!
According to an interview with Chris, the label wanted another Blood or Whore type song so Maria came up with the In-Between. Hence the "You just keep wanting more. With your blood and your whore."

I listened to beautiful tragedy in my most depressive states and at my worst, haven't seen new music from her in FOREVER and just the other day I was watching an old video of hers and then this. What is the most strange about it is that me and my dad have a horrible relationship and he said I would end up so bad but now look at me. This song represents what I went through and then to reference beautiful tragedy.
This genre isn't really my thing but what I think is interesting about this band is that they express very on-point, very real imagery of the human struggle between good and evil, how we can find ourselves caught between two different spiritual worlds. Sometimes ite just darkness for a lot of people.
I know this is a year-old comment. But you hit the nail on the head. They really get to the heart of the human condition in a lot of ways and that is why I love this band. Check out "Natural Born Sinner" if you haven't already :)

Being twisted by the call of sainthood and the call of a warrior. The anger and turmoil. The wanting to serve others and protect the weak and innocent. Saw these guys at Meadowbrook in NH July 26th 2019 with FFDP. I was blown away by Maria Brink! Between the music, theater and the energy it was the best concert I have ever seen!
I literally just searched up this song as, "the nun song" how can i, consciecntiously, and , as an in this moment fan officially live with myself now without crying, its preposterous, this woman and her singing talent cannot be understated.
Agreed, very very beautiful woman. I actually find her more attractive now as to when she was younger. She is beautiful, curvaceous, mature, alluring and dare i say...Milfy.Also could be that we are (her and me) about the same age so i fing her intoxicatingly gorgeous. Those eyes and that powerful voice 10/10 for me.
And from a make up perspective, the way she looks with the dewy, soft glowing face and softly rosy cheeks and nose gives her a certain angelic, youthful face as you see nowadays being a really popular type of make up. Compared to her other looks where she often has, let's say"strong" make up, (red lips, dark smokey eyes and something dark smeared across her face), it's a nice refreshing face of hers and it accentuates her natural beauty even more than before IMHO. I love Maria Brink!! I was in a car accident in December of 2017 and while I was in the hospital and rehab learning how to live paralyzed my girlfriend at the time left me. Around that same time I discovered "Roots". That song helped me use my anger and pain to push myself harder in physical therapy. I was told that no-one leaves rehab ready to live alone at their own home. I was the first person that they signed of on to go home and be and to live alone! I love In this moment, and thank you Maria! I've been in the hospital and now a nursing home since January 4th of this year. There are moment that I feel like the walks are closing in, that they are making themselves padded and I feel like I wear an invisible straight jacket. Once again I'm dealing with huge life change alone. So Once again, I lean on 🎶 music to get me through. If nothing else it helps me make it through one day at a time. And not give up. Sorry I turned this into a therapy session. Just needed to vent.

This genre isn't really my thing but what I think is interesting about this band is that they express very on-point, very real imagery of the human struggle between good and evil, how we can find ourselves caught between two different spiritual worlds. Sometimes ite just darkness for a lot of people.

She is beautiful, curvaceous, mature, alluring and dare i say...Milfy.Also could be that we are (her and me) about the same age so i fing her intoxicatingly gorgeous. Those eyes and that powerful voice 10/10 for me.
And from a make up perspective, the way she looks with the dewy, soft glowing face and softly rosy cheeks and nose gives her a certain angelic, youthful face as you see nowadays being a really popular type of make up.
Compared to her other looks where she often has, let's say"strong" make up, (red lips, dark smokey eyes and something dark smeared across her face), it's a nice refreshing face of hers and it accentuates her natural beauty even more than before IMHO.
